Hawke: (unconvincingly) Last night I saw Ser Conrad sacrificing a goat... to the great demon... Then he howled... loudly.
Ser Roderick: W- What? Demon?
Hawke: Oh yes! He was carrying on about how much he wanted to do... demony... things.
Ser Roderick: What? No!
Hawke: I tell you. That Ser Conrad must be... an abomination... or something. (sheepish smile)

It's the smile that made the scene.

Just ran into this and nearly started crying from laughing:

• Triggered Varric's anniversary conversation
• Hawke: "blah, blah"
• Waitress with low-cut neckline walks into frame and stands there for several seconds, leaving Varric's face half an inch from chest
• Varric: "Hawke...well, this is awkward"

i liked isabela's conversation with the dog.

"its not that i dont like dogs so much. its just that i hate having my leg humped...at least without getting a dinner first." (something along those lines)

The way she said it made me crack up

And the romantic choice for when you give isabela the ship in a bottle.

Isabela: awwwwww isnt that the cutest thing!
Hawke: you cannot see it, but there is a miniature version of you down belowdeck with a dozen sailors in attendance.

Then there was the conversation with her in the beginning of act 3 and the romance choice:

Isabela: oh, hawke!
Hawke: we need to talk...
Isabela: bugger all...i knew this was coming..(insert talk of why she left and came back)
Hawke: i forgive you, and am glad you came back
Isabela: thats it, no 'you backstabbing ****, or anything else'....are you trying to get me to sleep with you, cause its working
Hawke(romantic choice): i have to try?

Pretty much all the romantic flirts hawke says to isabela and her responses crack me up until later on in act 3.

Oh and one more:  during the quest for the missing templar keran, when you talk to the reception lady to find out who he visited, when you ask the question after she tells you the womans name:

lady:  ah yes he was a regular of 'Idunna the exotic wonder'
Hawke: thats an interesting stage name
lady:  well its better than 'Idunna the tramp from darktown'

I cracked up when i heard her say that the first time

I liked Fenris' line that comes at the end of Zevran's quest if you choose to do the threesome with Zevran and Isabela. If you have Fenris in your party he asks, "Are we sure he really was in an assassin's guild?"

You get these lines when talking to a "humorous/charming" Hawke from another party member.

So what have you thought of the weather lately?

"Hawke this, Hawke that." Why does everything fall to me?

We do a lot of walking, don't we?

I had better be swimming in gold after all this. (deep roads)

And my favorite:
Where are we going? How should I know? Do I look like the leader of this merry band of misfits?

By the by, anyone know what the agressive/blunt and amicable/nice Hawkes say when talking to him from another party member?

(PS. I don't think the initial Fiction-Hawke's response should count towards anything. That's not the real Hawke after all, but it seems that sets the starting point for Hawke's attitude. I figure that it should be the first two responses when the real story begins that decide where his personality starts.)

I like how if on the start of Blackpowder Promise when you go speak to the Arishok, if you have Fenris in your party, you find out how Jaravis basically was full of it, Fenris apologizes for their mistake, then asks if he should kill the dwarf. The Arishok's response:
"I have a growing lack of disgust for you." If not for the fact that the Arishok raises hell 3 years later, I'd like him more, sort of a uber-Klingon with serious religious values?

Usually when you have Aveline and Isabela in your party, their banter usually ends up with Aveline uttering those magic words:
