That was my all time favorite sarcastic Hawke line. It was deliverd so perfectly. Completely dead-pan as if he was asking a legitimate question.

I laughed so hard.

Also, in response to the original post, there are far too many golden lines in this game to choose one over all the others.

For me it would be when you meet mother Patriece<sp> in the Chantry and a convo insues and Aveline spouts off at the end "She's a ****!"

Or the deep roads the first time for you go there in chapter 1 and Sandal is missing. When you finally do come across Sandal there is all the dead darkspawn and Hawke ask him what happened and he says Enchantment! and you look over and see an Ogre frozen in mid stride and hawke looks over and says an him? Sandal says Not Enchantment.

I love every line that comes from Xenon the Antiquarian, but especially the one where he tells you not to fondle Andraste, and the one where he tells you that the golem's name is Thaddeus Gigantic (?) Crumb-Bum the Third, followed by "... he's my favourite."

He also says something along the lines of "Looking this dapper costs a lot of gold" and the delivery is priceless.

I seem to remember a line from Merrill at the brothel where she says something along the lines of how the sign doesn't look much like a blooming rose. I confess I hadn't looked at the sign before then. Eh-hem.

Yeah. Done it. Twice. She Doesn't say it.

When you are doing that quest for Sebastion where you go into the nobles house who hired the assassins to kill his family, everyone is acting strangely and you walk into that room where the girl is giving a 'Lewinsky' to the guy and he says something. Isabela says "I'll have to remember that line" what did he say? I couldn't make it out and didn't want to reload from an earlier save.

This one made me laugh the hardest when I heard my femHawke say it in the game.

Also, when you first move into the house, Sandal (very forlornly) says something like, "I'm sorry, I broke it..." after Bodahn compliments the new digs. That makes me giggle. A lot.

That is also tied with Isabela's shrieking during the Haunted mission in Bartrand's old digs.
