I think my favorite so far is Varric and Hawke are discussing going into the Deep roads, and Hawke says in a world weary and sarcastic tone, 'Oh great. We're adventurers now."

They really did a great job with the conversations this time round! Just about anything Merril says makes me want to scoop her up and cuddle her.

She gets quite upset about not getting her boat if you take her on Sabastions quest when the desire demon tries to corrupt you i think i said power sounds good or something along those lines and she bursts out with "Dont do it Hawk she will promise you a boat but she wont come through, I should know"

I love the sarcastic response you can give her when you confront afterwards where you repeat the line word for word. It was EXACTLY what I would've said in that position. "I like big boats... and I cannot lie?"

I didn't get any of these funny random convos! I only ever got people griping at each other. Would have made my gameplay a lot less annoying! I'll have to try again. I did keep running in and out of the Hanged Man for a while trying to get new stuff to come up.

I adored Merril in Aveline's quest. "A dowry? That only matters if you're courting him! .... GASP! You're courting him!" She's adorable.

Mine so far has to be, if memory serves, when you go into the Deep Roads Expidition and Sandal runs off and you have to find him. When you do, there's the corpses of several darkspawn lying around and Hawke says something to the effect of "Sandal, how'd you kill all these darkspawn?" to which Sandal hands him a rune I assume and says "Enchantment." Shortly afterward, it pans to the frozen Ogre and Hawke asks "And that one?" to which Sandal replies "Not enchantment." That one really made me chuckle for some reason lol

I can't remember the exact quote, but Isabela was questioning Fenris about the 'magical fisting thing' he does. I couldn't breathe for laughing. Isabela has GOT to be the best BioWare companion post-Baldur's-Gate.

I caught this when my GF was lounging on my lap (dragged the couch up to it cause it was a cold day and the PC was generating heat), that convo came up, and my GF gave me a "wait, what?" look that cracked me up.

Made me wish I recorded it.

NPC: Let me try: "The smart-mouthed Fereldan gets slapped in the face."

Something along those lines. I lol'd.

Oh, and Isabela during Aveline's personal quest. Catfight! I wanted to brofist Aveline.

Pretty much anything Isabela says is funny.

Also, I like the LoTR bit with Varric... while fighting he'll be like "That's 3 for me hawke, how many you got?" ... that made me chuckle the first time I heard it
