Hawke: "No need to worry helping people and killing people is what I'm good at."
Sums up everything I do in the game.

All of those were hilarious - especially little puns here and there.
I also remember one in The Hanged Man, some guy said,
"The Truth is out there...."
I giggled.

Probably not an exact quote but when you first recruit Merrill.
Dalish Hunter: We can't be rid of this one soon enough.
Merrill: I will protect this clan (Or something can't remember the exact wording)
Hawke: Sundermount seems very... mountainous today... lots of rock... and hillside. *awkward stare*

Varric: "You found my family ring! This sounds like something I would completely make up in a story!"
Also, the talkative man in the Hanged Man can say "Have you ever felt that world is getting simpler, like fighting and such" which I think is a reference to complaints on the game being dumbed down, either way I laughed.

Almost everything that came out of Varric or Merrill's mouth was pure gold, but Varric's real-time narration during Sebastian's Act II quest was probably my favorite exchange in the game.
Also, the dialogue where Anders is imagining some slight on the part of Sebastian and Sebastian is just completely ignoring him and talking about clouds. "That one is shaped like a bunny!"

Isabela:I've had hundreds of them in my hand and they're never that big
Varric:I've got a bigger one
Isabela:that's what they all say
Aveline:What are you guys talking about?
Varric:Knives, what did you think we were talking about?
Aveline:Nothing,nevermind
Don't remember the exact words but it was something similar to this.
Made me lol.

"I like big boats and I cannot lie" was a crack up. The bit about Sebastian wearing Andastre's face on crotch was good, too.

Avaline's hook-up quest with Isabela. Had to pause the game to laugh.
Also, anything Merrill says.

The best line for me in game isn't funny, but really said what I felt during that time:
*Don't recall it exactly but here's the gist of it:*
Before leaving for the gallows:
Merrill: Varric, can you tell me how this ends?
Varric: Why? You don't want any spoilers now.
Merrill: It's just that... what if I don't want to make it? I want to know the end.
Varric: We'll make it, I'll take you with me.
It was very well done and frankly gave deep meaning to what happend.

so many great lines... great job bioware.
it's funny when you visit varrics brother after he returned to kirkwall because varric (as the narrator) makes up stuff what his brother said about him, e.g. he was better looking, smarter, etc.

Favorite line was when the Viscount was holding his son's dead body and Hawke said something along the lines of "Look at the bright side. At least things can't get any worse. Today, anyway. It's pretty late, though."

Varric: Tell us about Starkhaven, Choir Boy. I'm sure we're all burning with curiosity about your far-away land.
Sebastian: "My far-away land"? It's inland Free Marches, not on the moon.
Varric: And here I was hoping...
Sebastian: It's a lot like here. Except fewer dead people.
Varric: Well, you don't have Hawke.

When asking Seneschal Bran where to search for the missing Qunari delegates:
Bran: Not coincidentally, a number of recent recruits have failed to report. You should start with them. Although, where you find a swordsman so eager to sell his honor and duty, I'm sure I don't know.
Fenris: The Hanged Man.
Merril: Hanged Man.
Varric: Obvious one, that.

During Aveline's courtship quest:
Aveline: I need.. I need 3 goats and a sheaf of wheat. You'll bring them to his mother.
Varric: I think my jaw just landed in the Deep Roads somewhere.

Also during Varric's epic cutscene in Bartrand's house, the quest title in the log is pretty funny:
Varric must face down his backstabbing brother in an epic battle to the death.

"Tell me Hawke, What would you do in this position.. were you in my shoes"
"I'd refuse to hand over the elves and kill all that got in my way"
"Rightly so.. *says something in Qunari*"
And then that awesome scene where the guards die

Last night Varric and Fenris - this is connected to the other "beard" conversation these two have....
Varric: So where is your beard elf?
Fenris: Elves don't have beards dwarf.
Varris: Huh, and here I thought you shaved it in a fit of broodiness.
Fenris: So now you're a funny elf.

Absolutely. A bright and cheery spot in an otherwise gloomy universe.
