You've managed to slip in a subject matter that, whilst most people would not say its dark and gritty, is to people who have lost a very close family member recently.
Great execution of the Sibling-Deep Roads Expedition. It struck too close to home, so I redid it without the sibling in the exped and let them go away during Act 2. Better that way, personally, for me, as I've lost a sibling in similar circumstances.
Then you threw me for a huge loop when Mother Hawke ends up the next character to make an exit, and this one, no way that I could redo, would change the outcome.
THAT was even closer to home, as I personally am still grieving over a recently-deceased mother.
Oh dont take it negatively Bioware, you've done it again. You've engrossed me into a story and setting that I had to actually stop and go "okay, I have to stop." Very few games actually give me pause and consider what my RL emotions are from the game character's own. Excellent execution.
You did it again, Bioware writers

You could've made the Sibling into a Warden by bringing Anders with you.

That wasnt a real solution for me, as I ran through DA:O and sacrificed my Grey Warden character to defeat the Arch-Demon. I felt that self-sacrifice was better than having others die for me.
