Does Despair work on mobs immune to stun (DPS part of it)?

My character has the spell and if they resist the stun, I've not seen any damage come of it.

Can you use Despair with Heal Aura up? I know you can use most non damaging spells while sustaining the ability, but this one only deals damage when upgraded. I was hoping maybe it'd be away to sneak some damage in from a spell w/o dropping the aura.

You can't use offensive spells, not simply damaging.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought that because you could use mind blast with the stun upgrade and telekinetic blast, but not Fist of the Maker that status effects were fine as long as you weren't doing any damage.
