Anyone purchase Torchlight?  I had never heard of it untli I saw someone mention it in another thread (Lucy Maybe?) so I looked into it when I saw that it was released and purchased it.  

Pretty fun little game..has kept my mind off Dragon Age when I had down time from other duties. 

It is like Diablo or Fate...not the greatest story game but a great little dungeon crawler and loot hoarding game.

Anyone else play it?

I have been playing the demo of this today and as I had no expectation of it I have been pleasantly surprised by it. It is a fun arpg that I imagine will eat a lot of time up without you knowing it.



At £15 ($20 for the US I think) it is also a bit of a bargain, especially considering that you will get a level editor too. I think I will be buying this come pay day (I am a bit broke at the moment -4 family birthdays and an anniversary in 1 month has kind of drained me lol)

I'm having a blast with it and it is keeping me from counting the hours till DAO arrives. Love the Dog, Love the fishes we catch (But not fishing). Love the entire feel of the game.



Best Diablo clone I've played and that includes Titan's Quest.

Yeah it's a pretty fun little game...great price. Surprising when you have no expectations.



I FEEL your pain Barlaw..all my daughters (3) birthdays are in a row..and right before Christmas. August 16, September 26, September 30 ....woot. At leasy my anniversary and wives Bday are in April and March..phew...my Bday is Jan 1st.

Probably going to pick this up...played around on the demo a bit, and I was impressed.

I only recently discovered this game (about a week before release), and am having a great time with it now. It's a wonderful game for a very low price (about EUR 14,50 for us Europeans). Should keep me happy until DA:O launches!

I just played the demo. I now purchased the game and am downloading it now. I had fun in the part of the demo I played at least. I only got to lv 4 and to the 2nd or 3rd level in the mine I think. It was fun though.

Originally looked like a Diablo clone to me, but it felt pretty solid when I did try it. Might buy it.

I bought it yesterday, and I found it quite fun. It's the best Diablo-clone I've played for quite a while (and that includes Titan Quest).
