I have in my party

Me (Creation/Force Mage/Spirit Healer) - Spirit Healers are OP
Aveline - Tank, OP as well
Varric
Fenris

I am on nightmare and this comp is ridiculous.  There are no aoe problems except for fenris hitting aveline and varric hitting 2 warriors.  The damage is negligible.

I am full creation and spirit healer and I picked up fist of the maker and unshakeable in force mage.

Aveline is S&S and defender and all of her damage reducing stuff in her unique tree

Varric is full archery and his unique tree

Fenris is full 2handed and his unique tree

I have come to the conclusion you max out the unique trees asap.  They are OP.

Fenris flies around the battlefield destoying everything.  I have both Varric and Fenris with a tactic:
>Enemy attacking Hawke : Attack, among others

I never have to CC and only occasionally heal.  It is absurd.  Sitting back watching Fenris is so much fun, I just do that.  I started doing it so much I was't even paying attention to health so I had to make tactis where they all use health potions haha.

Add haste to Fenris and it is quite a sight.  He Scythes into like 5 baddies, then whirlwind, then mighty blow, then his unique spirit explosion thing.  Rinse reapeat.

I also have both Aveline and Fenris with Bolster and Second wind and they alternate Rallys.  There are no Stamina/mana issues whatsoever.

Just thought I 'd share my party experience because it is ridiculous.
