there is also the weapon that you get for free that levels with you, i love that thing! i did the whole sign up for this and get this in game stuff, including playing the app on facebook. the stuff you get from doing these things are some of the more usefull items.

Chest in Gamlen's house/hawke estate. It isn't the standard inventory one.

reading this and hearing about the farming in hightown/lowtown at night, ive noticed that after 4 or so groups, they stop spawning at all for me, even without touching their base.

Finished in lvl 27 and 1370/28000.
As archer solo play (only  use companions in companions quests) in nightmare ( stelth and assasination is the key for that ). if you try that, make sure you have an extra bow as  many mobs are imune to the hood bow .

well i got to level 27, thats inculding the DLC and also that level up stuff you make. Whats it called? Hero..something.

I was able to reach level 27 during my play-through as a rogue, but ended in the high lvl 26 range as a mage and warrior. In that case, I was able to disengage all traps (save maybe one or two) and open all locked chests, which helps add the extra little XP you might not receive if missing a rogue in party. I also had all DLC content and the extras from Signature Edition (you level up from the goodies received in Gamlen's house), but not Legacy. Did EVERY side quest, found all codex entries. Also, had items that give +1% XP equipped on characters (probably added an extra 1-3% during half of Act 2, and around 3-5% during Act 3). Bought all tomes/elixers. Even got extra XP by returning to certain areas twice (ex: the Tal-Vashoth respawn on the Wounded Coast, so you can sort of grind there).
When I did download Legacy, I reloaded my save right before the final straw (I was level 25), played through Legacy and reached level 27, then played the remainer of the game. Considering how much XP Orsino (and Meredith?) give you, I was hoping it was possible to reach level 30. But my post-campaign left me at level 28. Not bad. Makes me wonder if 30 is reachable? Anyone get that high?

I got 28 after starting Legacy from a post campaign save.

Hopefully there will be a lot more dlc for my characters to use for the xp. There's so many abilties for my characters that I'd like them to get, but you can only get so many during one playthrough without exploits/cheating.

How do you get it? i've played as rouge and mage and gotten to 25/23 repectivly with them. Working on Warrior now, and i'd love to have it... Just can't seem to get it.

they orginally planned to do more dlc so perhaps that level 50 caps would have been filled with it but since they cancelled the tevinter dlc and perhaps any others they had planned the highest you get is roughly 30

i ended up 27! i only needed 1/5 to reach 28! .. and i did almost everything possible in the game to reach it!

Its impossible to hit the hard cap level 50 unless cheat. I don't see the point of getting to level 50. by level 20 most if not all the essential skills you should have learned.

You could probably keep grinding mobs to level, I think they keep spawning, People say its impossible to get 50 without cheating, clearly they aren't as patient as me! I enjoy grinding levels and seek to prove them wrong.

Good luck. I don't think it's possible. It's definitely not possible after the main quest, since you're not allowed to explore without the use of the console.

I remember reading that the soft cap was 27.5 with the DLC.

DA2 enemies do not respawn, so you can't grind.

I must have missed a few quests.

Seriously. Some of the fetch quests do require you to be really observant, due to absence of markers.

If someone can help me with my tome searching in Act 2 and Scroll searching in Act 3, I'd be grateful.

I'd say level 27-28 is what you end up with if you do all the DLC. Also, picking locks and disarming traps nets you a hefty amount of XP.

If someone can help me with my tome searching in Act 2 and Scroll searching in Act 3, I'd be grateful.
