I love Anders healing tree where he can revive fallen allies (only one who can as far as I see), but using the sustained abilities means no offensive spells!

I need him as a death dealing mage, but really love his healing abilities.  Should I leave his helaing sustained ability off until really needed?

He is a very enticing character (esp. for my hawke who is a 2-H warrior), but I m not sure how to get the most out of him.

I usually just wait until I need him. That modal has significant reserve cost, too.

He can still use his staff and spells like glyphs, when Panacea is active, so I still find him very useful with that mode active. Switching it on and off hasn't been a major pain, but I have two mages in my party and he's obviously the support/healer of the group.

Anders can be a main nuke(Vengence) ****** healer too, if you micro manage well.

On a side note, when does Sebastian become available to join your group. I did his initial quest, now he is just hanging out in the vhantry.

You will be able to recruit him after deep road expedition.
