I resolved the problem with the release
date authenticator getting stuck at 30% and then giving you a random
error. It seems that for some reason or another, some kinda bug or
permission problem in dragon age 2 was not letting dragon age 2 or the
securom release date authenticator see the internet. So the solution
is, if you are running windows 7. (I'm not sure for other versions of
windows if this will work.) Run an elevated command prompt (basically
run cmd.exe as administrator) Then you have to enable the hidden built
in Administrator account for windows 7. In the command prompt you will
type something like this
C:windowssystem32>net user administrator active:yes
the command prompt will tell you that the command was successfully executed.
Log off of your account and log in to the built in administrator account.
Run your Da2 again and it should get through the release control.
If you need more detailed instructions on the built in administrator go here.

I'm still working on how to get it working with my normal account.
So my new problem is, how to get my Dragon age 2 to see the internet when i'm logged into my normal (standard) user (which is an administrator) account rather than the built-in administrator account.
