I have gotten to the point where I've taken care of all the foreign assassins (at least, that is what my quest log is saying.) When I visit Sketch on the Docks at night, there's a lovely quest marker over his head but I cannot speak to him no matter how much I assault him with my cursor. I believe he did speak to me briefly once, but I may have ESC'd out of the conversation too quickly? I am not sure.

My neurotic compulsion to finish all quests available to me means this entire thing is aggravating.

Did I miss an event trigger somewhere? Is my quest bugged?

Shetch is from the DLC Leliana's song. I forget but he is a bookish elf. I have to play the DLC again in order to help you any further. Hope this was of some help.

Ah, I don't have that DLC (but started my game with a completed DA:O save.) I wonder if that has something to do with my inability to complete the quest?

Sketch is indeed from Leliana's Song, but whether or not you have that DLC really has nothing to do with DA2 beyond realizing he's a cameo.

In any case, I have the same problem. I killed the assassins and got my reward from Sketch, but it still acts as though it's incomplete. I didn't skip any dialogue or anything, it just never seemed to register it as complete. I think it's a bug. It is kinda annoying to see it still there.

I got to the part to talk to Sketch, but there is no scene of Sketch talking to Hawke, he says something like random NPC when clicked on and gives a mage staff. But the map still shows as you need to talk to him and the journal entry acts like the quest isn't complete. No the DLC doesn't have to do nothing with it.

Perhaps its a glitch like the flickering in cut scenes. I too have the same problem. Also when I took out the ones in hightown night the quest markers still appeared on the map even after they were all dead.

I can't even get to the part to talk to Sketch. Run around every corner of Kirkwall day/night & can't nab all the assassins.

If you got the game guide it tells you where all 5 locations are for the assassins.

only problem with this quest is it's bugged. once you complete it, talk to Sketch and get the reward, the quest does not update to completed status.

Other than that, it works as normal so far. This quest is like the quest for the salarian named Ish in ME2 on Omega where you get the packages for him but the quest doesn't update properly if you use any of the paragon/renegade conversation options to end the quest.

It's not a big issue.

Yeah it is bugged. I completed it too and got the reward and xp. It even said Quest Completed yet it still shows it active. I hope this doesn't stop us from getting other quests that you have to complete that one first to unlock.

Good Point. I have the same exact problem. It seems to be a glitch. I really hope he didn't have more quests to offer.

Yep bugged doesn't end when you solve it, bothered me also.

Same here, got the reward but doesn't end. but as soon as Act 3 starts, it disappears from your Journal.
