Yes, I know there's another topic like this, but it didn't help me at all.

I've spent the past 2 hours trying to find a solution to my problem and I've had no luck.  I've tried everything I've come across and I'm completely irritated and annoyed.

I preordered the DA: Ultimate Edition (which has worked fine, it's not the problem) and played it a lot for the month following it's release.  I had originally purchased DA: Origins back in 2009, but traded it in towards Bioshock 2, so I had the Blood Dragon Armor code from that one still on the Xbox.

I share an Xbox with my boyfriend and the BDA was downloaded under HIS Live account.

My problem is that I keep getting the BDA Corruption Notice for only MY account.  All his saves load fine.

My save will not load at all.  I've deleted the BDA and then redownloaded it.

I recently recovered my GamerTag at a friends house to watch Netflix (I have Gold and they don't) and had to recover it back to my Xbox today.  Would that have caused the corruption?
I am also wondering if purchasing the BDA under MY account will help too.  (I've spent 50+ hours on this save and the only thing I have left to do is the Landsmeet and AchDemon batttle.  I really...really do not want to restart.)

Any help wuld be greatly appreciated.

Would the license transfer possible be a solution?

OBakaSama's patented idiotic waffling; you have been warned.

Whether you recovering your Gamertag at your friend's is part of the problem I don't think many can answer positively. It could be if you did this recovering prior to the corruption you write of. So the question is: when did recovering occur? If the Blood Dragon armour was fine before and then you got the corruption after the recovery then it does sound likely.

Secondly: personally I would have thought you'd have downloaded and redeemed it under your own account as you say it's yours, but the system will likely associate it with your boyfriend's Gamertag. Check your registered game promos tab to see what's there in your account. My own suspicion is that is recognised as your boyfriend's and not yours as such.

Thirdly: I don't understand what you mean by purchasing the Blood Dragon armour using your account. I don't recall seeing it being on XBox Live for purchase, and the redemption code has already been used on your boyfriend's Gamertag and cannot be used again.

Fourthly: As far as I am aware the corrupt dlc issue is best solved by redownloading the dlc in question. I've had to do it quite a few times for certain items, and it was a bit hit and miss. I'd be tempted to suggest deleting it from your HD and redownloading it entirely as it were.

Fifthly: since you did the recovery thing then a license transfer is advisable to consolidate the data; though I am unsure as to whether that will solve the issue you are having.

Fingers crossed that someone more knowledgeable than myself can advise you further.

Thank you responding at least. :)

As for the recovery, all was well before I recovered it at my friends house. I then recovered my GT today because I wanted to finish DA:O and alas, I ran into this problem.

Well, I picked it up at GameStop and then ended up going to work, so my boyfriend ended up redeeming the code. I don't really care about the armor, and he knew that, so it didn't bother me that he redeemed the code. I checked my download history and the DLC tab on the start menu of DA:O and the BDA doesn't show up for me. But it shows up under his.

As for purchasing it, that was stupidity on my behalf. I didn't realize it at first, but no, I can't purchase it unless I buy a brand new copy of the game itself.

I have deleted it from the HD and redownloaded it a few times so far, but, no luck. But I'll continue trying.

After working for 7 hours, I have come to realize that it wouldn't be so bad to play through it on Easy or something to get back to where I was and continue forward on normal. I'll keep my "corrupted" save just to see if I can fix this, but if not, oh well. It's not the end of the world. It just made the start of my day terrible. Haha.

But thanks anyway. :)
