I think altering the controls maybe more beneficial to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 users. L3 seems to be unused at this point. I recommend switching L3 to pause the game and bring up the large radial menu. Since we use this button to direct our actions throughout the menu it is only logical to also make it access the menu.  This will free up the L2 button. Which should  be used as another tab for 3 more talents down on our UI. Thanks for your time. Please comment I'd like to hear some feedback.
