At the start of game (after the completion of the prologue) I wasn't allowed to edit Hawke's facial features (except changing between the preset faces) and again, after I installed the Black Emporium, I tried that Mirror of Transformation thing, and again the options to change the eye colour, hair colour, etc. are grayed out.

How do I fix this?

Selecting a different preset from the first two hawkes. Default hawke and default hawke with the loody nose cant be edited.

Also, if you have the demo installed, that may be affecting your regular game. I had the same problem: on another post, someone else suggested I uninstall the demo, and after I did, I was able to create my own custom faces (though what bobius says still holds true).

Yeah, I did find it kind of annoying how I couldn't edit the main Hawke presets...honestly, I'm just not a find of the yellow eyes but the rest of his face fits the voice actor so well...
