Archer Hawke, Varric, Fenris, Merrill....so much damage that you don't even need healing except for boss battles. I just used potions for that.

For me? Mage Hawke, Fenris, Varric and Carver/Merrill.
Sure it's abit on the squishy side but they're killing things so fast it doesn't matter.

This is based on character, not on effectiveness. I just love how Isabela and Aveline insult each other, and I hate not having a healer around...If Hawke is a healer, I'll substitute Varric for Merrill pretty frequently...
