The problem for NVIDIA users is the driver:

Using the driver 267.26
Fix this problem. !

But, the 267,26 is only for GTX 560 ti so the .inf file in the setup file must be modded to work on all NVIDIA cards.
My Modded 267.26 driver to aksept (almost) all Nvidia cards is working like a charm. With great preformance in DX11

How to mod the .inf. file:

Comming up .......

- Open the nv_disp.inf file form 267.26 in notepad. Then open the nv_disp.inf from your latest nvidia driver downloaded from nvidia to your card. ( Feks. 267.24 )
( The files will u find in C:/nvidia/DisplayDriver/26X.XX/Vista XX-bit/english (or int.)/Display.Driver )

Scroll down in the 267.24 inf. file until u se :
[NVIDIA_SetB_Devices.NTamd64.6.0]

Copy everything under that post to the same place in the 267.26 file.

Do the same with the post:
[NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.0]
and
[NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.1]
and (last post. end of the document)
[Strings]

Save and do "setup" from C:/nvidia/DisplayDriver/26X.XX/Vista XX-bit/English

The setup will approve your hardware and u are good to go

Kinda hard to explain without using 3 h on it.

And as always: Pls. love my bad Enlish B)

Love from Norway.  <3<3<3

Dunno mate. Try again. make shure u use the working inf. file from your current driver, not a download from nvidia who not match your card.

It's possible that it might've changed your clocks, considering you're using a GTX AMP, but I'm not exactly sure. There could be different device entries for your card in the .inf as well?

Does this fix the low framerate issues on DX11 with the more powerful nvidia cards?

Dont think so. Just the driver vs dx 11 compability problem who gives 10 to 30 sec freeze / very low fps randomly.

Got 30 to 60 fps on my gtx 285 .

A tilp is to turn off Screen space ambient occlusion. It's a huge fps stealer and u hardly se the difference.

It's worth a try, I've seen varying success on multiple setups, and it would make sense if it did, considering the 267.26 driver was designed for the GTX 560 Ti, a DX11 card. Just roll back if you have any issues.

well it worked this time, but it it still crashes. maybe its other bugs as well the crash ocured while loading and the driver didnt stop responding an it didnt lag with quite high settings. so thanks im probably half way there :D

Ehm.. do you add to, or overwrite to the 267.26 nv_disp file? I guess overwrite, but I think it's better to ask than trying to fix whatever mistake I've done D:

I don't get it.  I shouldn't have to turn off SSAO on overclocked SLI'd GTX 580s.

None. U must open the file and edit it as i wrote. then save and run setup.
Copy inf. file from 267.34 to 267.26 is not working

Well, that's not what I meant. For example on [Strings] there's already some text written. I wasn't sure if I should overwrite that text. I did, and I'm running the setup atm.

If overwriting works, well good. But I just added to it what I needed.

Dosent matter. if u overwrite the driver cant be used for the 560 ti, but if u have a 560 ti. u dont need to mod the driver . :D

We shouldn't have to do any of this -- however, kudos on the work!

Nvidia, where are you?!

I can't find the nv_disp.inf in any other nvidia folders, except for 267,26. Can anyone upload a working inf. please.

It did not work. Upon attempting to play the game again, it ran fine until I tried to enter another area, then crash to desktop. At least it did not freeze and artifact. All I got was a black screen and an error message dragon age 2 has stopped working etc etc.... Well guess I have to wait for the official nvidia driver to fix this crap. I really hoped this would work.
