Thank you so much. My own occasional freezes weren't temporary, and were crashing the whole computer not just the game, but this seems to have fixed them, too. Been playing three hours with this fix and haven't seen a single one.

It's kinda funny that i sit her, way up in the forest with moose and Wolf as nearest neighbours and fix Boiware / Nvidia problem.

How hard can it be to add those lines and release a non support beta driver .!?

Worked! Frame rate still sucks, 30fps, but I can play with DX10 setting on my 275 GTX now without freezes.

I hope Bioware doesn't read this and think it absolves them from fixing their game.

I got a gtx 285 and have 30 to 50 fps.  with 2x aa 4x af  on High. + hi res textures.
Turn off Screen Sp. Am. occ .....

267.24 is supporing gtx 580 so if u do the  mod right  or just download my inf file and replace the 267.26 inf u will be fine.

My inf. file is in this post a bit up.

Take 267.26 ( download a new one )

. mod the nv_disp.inf file as i wrote in the start of this post from the 267.31 and it will work.

But my pre moded inf file from 267.24 shall also work on your card

install the 267.26.  then take my modded 267.24 inf and replace the disp_nv.inf in the 267.26 file directory.

u know u need to mod the inf file in c:/nvidia/displayDriver  dir.  ..... then install it.
.not in Windows dir. !

Im not getting it , so before I install I need to modify the info of the file in the c:/nvidia / etc... but to the nv_disp that you gave me right?

For some reason the nv_disp file in 267.24 is showing up as a .cat file. I can open it but all I get are random symbols.  Renaming it to nv_disp.inf can change it but I can't get the symbols to change into anything readable.

The same file in the 267.26 is showing up and opening properly.

I have a 9700 GT and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, it worked! 9800GT on Windows 7 64-bit. I had the 267.24 beta driver installed already which changed nothing (although it claims to improve compatability with Dragon Age 2 in the release notes). At first I was nervous about modding the file 'cause I'm not very knowledgable with computers but it turned out to be quite simple. Cheers
