Well I know Merrill changes to a fancier outfit than her original one. This only occurs if you romance her, I'd presume to show that if she's moved in with Hawke she has the money now to buy herself new clothes and armor.

Fenris gets a red ribbon around his wrist, AND he wears a small Hawke crest on the side of his belt. I'm romancing him in my second playthrough. I noticed this change right after we had "sex".

Does anyone know about Isabela... I've done ever quest in the game and only noticed Anders and Aveline change outfits. I romanced Isabela but still noticed nothing.

So far I've only seen changes in Anders, Aveline, Merrill and siblings...

Did anyone notice that Merrill loses her enchantment slot on her armor once she upgrades? Also any enchantment that is already there, is gone.

I can confirm that Isabella has a differant costume, not sure about how I got it but my guess is it's romance related.
Also, Anders robes change after his "Justice" quest.

Isabela's alternate outfit is very nice.  She has like a black corset on and black boots.  I'm not entirely sure how to get it but after browsing around on the forum, I think it has to do with choosing respectful dialogue options during the conversation after the love scene if you romance her.  I'm assuming this means not forcing the whole "I love you" thing on her, since she seems to have commitment issues.  I'm not sure if that's exactly it, though.  Someone would have to test it out to find out, I'm afraid.

Well. After you sleep with her you get it, no romance required. It bugs most of the time, frankly, and respeccing her at BE seems to be the only present fix.

Do you have the Black Emporium installed? There's a Potion you can buy which lets you reallocate ability and stat points. By doing that you also change Isabela's Outfit.

I have to admit that the lack of armor customization is a disappointment to me too... That and the fact that robes grant as much defense as a plate armor... And one handed weapons deal as much damage as two-handed axes... I love the game but that was not a change I'd have made...

Though, Averline's armor post-deep roads expedition look really nice!

I romanced her, did every single one of her quests and gave her, her two gifts and nothing. Talk about ripped off/ kidding

I wonder if it's a bug with the PC?
