Is the fact that Bethany dies when i pick a mage.
I honestly dont care about Carver.
I loved mages in DA:O but i cant stand how the start goes if you pick a mage so... i cant even play a mage.
And the painful thing is, that you cant alter it in any way.
Its so frustrating that i cant play my favourite class because of the story, believe me.
PS: I am allowed to post such stuff here am i?
The 1 thing which frustrates me the most.

If that was the case deep roads on insane trying to get bethany as a warden would have been ridiculous. In a gameplay/roleplay sense he fills the void that fenris would leave if you didn't want to bring him along because you were a mage but needed/wanted a 2 hander in your group without the obvious contradictions and im sure they felt you needed another warrior more than youd need a 4th mage.
He also adds for an interesting dynamic on the final choice if he joins the templar.

He means if you are a mage and leave Carver when you go to the Deep Roads and he becomes a Templar.
But I totally agree, Carver is an ass, no way around it. I think he is jealous of you and Bethany because he was the only one who wasn't a mage and he is SOOOO determined to undermine you and be a dick whenever he can, even becoming a Templar!
I prefer Bethany, I have had good banter with her and she seems content being in the champions shadow, where as Carver feels he has to prove himself to be just as good as you.
He is so annoying, haven't finished my mage playthrough yet, but I would so kill him if I could. (he is a Templar in my mage playthrough.)

At the very start, Bethany dies to the ogre if you pick a mage.
And if you pick a Warrior/Rogue, Carver dies.
THAT is my frustration.
, i wish that Carver died in the beginning of all class playthroughs.
