Hey. Everything you said makes a lot of sense, but for me that bloody dwarf resisted everything I threw at him. I even switched the weapons of Aveline and Isabella for non-elemental replacements, which did do damage, because the little shield symbol stopped appearing when they struck, but it STILL didn't do nearly enough damage to wear him down. My Hawke is an archer, not a duel-wielder, and I was using the bow you get after beating the High Dragon at the Bone Pit in the third act of the game, because it's even stronger than the Hooded Messenger to the King, the DLC bow.

I think that bow has fire emental damage. I have to figure up DA2 to double check.

It has so it deals no damage to this dwarf with regular attacks or assassinate. Archer abilities like bursting arrow wouldn't help either because that's fire too.

Situations like this is why you pretty much have to carry a secondary weapon set when using an elemental one as primary. The need for weapon swapping has never been greater but the swap feature is removed. An archer rogue should ideally swap for daggers more or less every time assassinate is used but it's troublesome.

I must have used punishing lance and misremebered. All CCC's just look the same after a while.

Hey Kuro when u said " In Dragon Age 2 its just overwhelming waves of enemies and after many hours of this it gets frustratin" try and use pulling technique like in online RPG u kno, that way when u come across a big croup keep ur crew around a corner on hold just take one puller and usially big croups there would be 3 archers on left side 3 on right side in middle Main dude with couple body guards, so just send ur puller and pull archers for example they will follow u around the corner or w/e strategy u use and u and ur gang jump them

Absolutely not. The only real differences to Hard, are that you heal less, do less damage, enemies do more damage (possibly heal more health too), and friendly fire is possible. There are no extra enemies, no increase in EXP, and the items are exactly the same. Oh, and you loot less potions.

Edit: in Casual, you get more potions.
