Now I just beat the game. And by God was I blown away. MY MIND. IT HATH BEEN NUKED.

Leliana is so important to the story that I think she will ALWAYS be alive, even if she was dead in your carry over playthrough from DAO(like mine).

Anders........aww man. I HAD to kill him for what he did. I didn't want to kill my Warden's buddy from Awakening, but........he didn't have to do what he did.

Plus, I didn't want an army from Starkhaven annihilating Kirkwall.

Hawke ran off with Isabella, and now she's gone. The Warden went through the Eluvian with Morrigan.

Although remember folks, DA2 didn't read any saves from the DLC's of DAO, according to devs. Just DAO decisions.

So things just got more interesting. WAY more interesting.

I don't know where the story is going. My only hunch is Flemeth.

But by God, I will DEFINITELY stick with Dragon Age.

God I love Bioware, mistakes and all. Epics like this make gaming worth gaming.

Flemeth is targeting individuals with the strength to change the world and using their seed to do something. What she is doing I have yet to create a theory.

Anders, god Anders what have you done. 

Anders was my buddy. I love the character. But he made me kill him. How could I let him go after that, theres no doubt in my mind that if Anders live he would go bomb more chantries to try to force a revolution. I just couldn't let that happen.

God, when was the last time a game put forth such a heart wrenching decision.

It made the game for me. I love DA2.

I totally forgot about Maric at sea. also, if you read The Stolen Throne, Maric has to do something for Flemeth, but it is never mentioned what it is.

I'm excited for the direction the story has taken.

That is a good theory. As the keeper (or maybe Flemeth said) there are only a few things stronger than a promise kept.... could it be love? 

As stated earlier in this thread. I believe that the demon baby is canon. 3/4 decisions lead to the demon baby being conceived by a Warden in DA:O, and even if Morrigan runs away she still ends up preggers. 

Also, the first trailer released by Bioware for Dragon Age 2 was male Hawke fighting for Isabella. So you might be on to something.

I was pissed at him.

First off, he makes us wallow through urine and manure because he can't be honest with us, and then he goes ahead and nukes the Chantry and plans to do the same to others?

That's not the Anders I knew from Awakening. He was beyond saving. Justice wouldn't of done that either. Justice was a good spirit and another good friend.

That mess? Elthina, the ONE person who could've calmed everyone down and avoided a massacre, MURDERED?

Sebastian, having to watch his pseudo-mother get blown up right in front of his face?

Anders had to die. I'm just glad he got to see Nathaniel one last time before the end.

Hopefully Ser Pounce A Lot doesn't figure out what happened to his buddy.

Thus far (at least in my playthrough), we have a city demolished by yours truly and her sweet 'n' psychotic bf, a country recovering from the Blight with a King who is pro-mage freedom apparently, Orlais and the Chantry with a ruler getting older, the Crows in chaos (that letter in the journal was ~*interesting*~), and generally a lot of anarchy with a good topping of holy 5%*^ on top. Mages vs. Chantry vs. Wardens, etc.

Bring the war.

Every planet that has intelligent life eventually becomes enveloped into  world war. Looks like its time for Thedas to have it's first world war.

Bring it on baby.

Because I already knew Anders and Justice from before, what they turned into resonated far more with me than New Mage #3425 would've. I doubt I would've cared half as much if it hadn't been Anders.

Remember, the cake is a lie. Thats why the Arishok was so pissed off. I guarantee that so called Holy Book Isabela stole was a book of cookie and cake recipes that Sten brought back with him to the Qunari.

They never were able to decode their prophets recipes that explains why they don't have. I can picture the Arishok saying "Let my cookies go!!!!"

Honestly, I was a little proud of Anders. Not because of what he did. That was obviously effed up. But DA:A Anders wanted so badly for someone to do something drastic to stop the circle system. And he was too scared to be that someone. It was even foreshadowed in his banter with Justice. The will to take action is something that builds in him throughout DA:A, and it just makes sense that he'd take up the power to act in a massive way, and it makes sense that it would embitter him. But I love that he became the hero he was waiting for, even while I hate that the hero he was waiting for was a terrorist.

Anders was my lover on my first playthrough. There was no way I was going to kill him so I spared him. At the same time, my Hawke always hated these Chantry ****heads for creating the Templars.

Oh no, he was definitely a terrorist.  A terrorist with a noble goal perhaps.  And one could argue that someone can be a terrorist and a hero.  But let's call the thing what it is.

Anyway, all terrorists think that their goal is worthy of their method.  But when you slaughter hundreds of innocents to scare folk into starting a war, that's terrorism.

Just finished the one! OMG!!! lolololol wait...*tries to calm down* okay...im so happy that there will be a Dragon Age 3 and you are right jamesb71486, something BIG is coming! by the way, in my opinion, i think made a good choice with siding with the mages... Meredith was corrupted by the lyrium, im a bit disappointed that we didn't get enough side quest, i wanted it to be LONGER..C'mon bioware!!! at least be more prettyand add more dlc than origins cuz honestly...it felt it was too short.
