No, just made me frown at how hard Bioware is trying to invoke sadness by thinking everything possible to screw the family over.

I got excited? From a roleplaying since it really gave me a lot of justification to lash out towards mages on my first play though I thought it was a really great way to open up some new opportunities.

More so when you find out more about this near the end. ;)

I cried. Man. It was awful. First time a game did that to me.

Yeah. I was very uneasy when uncle Gamlen mentioned the lilies, and then the rest of the quest I was so uneasy about it, till the end. Then I was quite devastated. :( Definitely one of the bigger twists I wasn't expecting.

I'll admit it caused me to weep a bit. I for one like the impact family has in DA 2.

I had Carver still and Gamlen if you want to count him, and you should have done a quest in act 3 that gets you a secret family member no one knew about.
And I bawled like a baby when Mama Hawke died. Very powerful moment but at least Hawke got to say 'goodbye' to her.

This scene proves anyone who says the story in DA2 is bad, are full of ****. This is the first time I ever cried because of something that happened in a video game.
