[Bad Gamer 83]

 I really, really, really(!), don't want to convert down to "Casual" for this encounter.  That Dragon right after you fight that ogre is a real pain.  So, here I come in being all noobish (lol) and asking: are there any recommendations for taking down this SoB?

 Hey man I just beat that dragon on hard. But first what is your party makeup? Mine was Fenris, Verrick, (im a bow rogue) and than anders.

First time I walked into the room I got him to like 45% and died was like wth.

Second time. 

You enter from a very long hallway. Before you encounter the dragon make sure your party is on "hold" at the very back of the hall. Than run your main guy up to the dragon and kite him back (your party should start ranged attack him from early on. As soon as the dragon starts getting close manually pause the game and move ur guys into the next room, making him chase you. Keep doing that keep kiting him. Make sure ur tank is on the dragon and keep hitting him cause it slows him down. The dragon will teleport u all to him, pause and move ur guys and just keep kiting. The dragon may change targets if he does, just take control of the target and kite kite kite. All the while ranged people should be doing decent dmg to him. I did this, and got him down and killed him. This way you avoid all the little dragons (bear in mind when u reenter the main room the small ones will spawn and you have to kill them. Hope this helps! if you think this boss is hard.. omg wait till the Rock Wraith.. im stuck on him on hard.

I somehow won, but I blacked out though while playing and I don't remember anything! It's all gone! Why!
I just wanted to help post a strategy!

Uh (bad with names so stick with my here)  Have Fenris, the Red Haired woman tanking and Varric and Hawke's a mage.

Well if you can't beat the dragon... good luck beating the boss in the next encounter down there.

The strategy for the Dragon is simple. Have your tank get aggro. Run back down the hallway from where you came. Run back into the room at the end of the hallway. In my play through the Dragon will not enter the large room. Have your tank keep aggro, but stay out of range of attacks. Have other team mates auto-fire at will and crush adds.

Finally beat that stupid Dragon! Got pwned by the rock-boss though
