Hello, I have seen a number of threads on here about issues with bonus content for preorders, Dead Space 2 bonuses, SE bonus, etc.  I am making this thread simply because I do not want to have to reply to all of those threads.

I had issues myself, I had a Bioware account since just short of forever (since ME1).  I also had a seperate EA account from some of their non Bioware games (Madden, etc.).  I myself did not realize that things weren't cool between the different accounts (which were logged under different emails).  If you haven't noticed, DA2 defaults to certain accounts, in my case since I play xbox, my xbox live account under my old email.  However, I had the code from Dead Space 2, preorder, etc. that I entered before ever turning DA2 on.  I entered those on my seperate EA account since that was the account I had all along and didn't think anything of it.  Needless to say, it made a mess of things and I could not access my bonus DLC.

So the point of this thread?  If this sounds like you, DO NOT DESPAIR!!  You have a few options.  You can submit an email ticket with EA.  I would not do this, its been days and I never received a response.  You can use their online chat technical support function found at http://support.ea.com/chat
This is somewhat helpful.  I was able to get corrected my gamestop preorder issue and my Sir Isaac Clarke armor through the chat support.  However, if you are an English speaker, know that they are not as fluent.  I ended up repeating myself multiple times and some issues were just not resolvable due to language barrier, even after 3 hours of communication.  For example, the guy kept giving me a code for Black Emporium, which I repeatedly told him I did not have any problems with.  Your final option is to call during service hours.  If you are within the US, the number to dial is 866-543-5435.  The representative was very helpful.  After providing some verification information, the representative (a native English speaker) simply looked up my account(s) and provided all the remaining missing bonus content right there while I was playing.  Took only a short phone call.

So yes, they can fix it.  Just give them a call!  :D

The number for the UK is 0870 2432435.

Very helpful, very quick. Sorted out my game registration problem (basically me not reading the packaging properly) within minutes.

I called two days ago and after tier 1 tried the simplistic stuff I was told it needed escalated and to hold. After a bit of a wait I was told that all of the tier 2 techs were busy and a call-back was scheduled for 5pm on Friday. It's now Sunday night, and as I told them in my last email, they may want to check on that guy that was supposed to call me.... cos' I think something may have happened to him.

People who want to fix problems, fix them. People who don't, blame customers or just ignore you. It took me a bit, but I know the score now. Somewhere in that company I'll find someone who is interested in this complete disregard for customer service. I'll just relax until I find that someone and let them express my discontent back down the ladder.

Rob, do you have anything for those of us confused about "we'll call you at 5 pm on Friday" and have as yet still not been called Monday morning? I'm really pretty angry about that and about having folks on this site with Bioware tags under their name acting like I've done something wrong and that is why I don't have my junk.

Please see the following and explain what I can do to be smarterer and fixer it:

EA support request information [Incident: 110311-021359]
EA support request information [Incident: 110307-025732]

As you can see in those tickets, I have been blatantly lied to on multiple occasions by folks who do not think I will reach anyone on Monday morning who thinks it is wrong to treat customers this way. We shall see. I am no idiot, I can enter a code in a box. If you look at my account here you will see I have a ton of items in my "My Registered Content". If you now go over and look under "My Games" then "Xbox Dragon Age II" and then "Unlocks" you will see only three. How can this be? What is wrong?

I think I will put something together to help out those of you at Bioware and EA who are still confused about how to deliver what you promise and do what you say you are going to do. I'll name it "Easy Steps to returning phone calls and treating customers with dignity". Where would you like it posted, Rob?

Thank you.

I have the problem that I seem to have 2 masterID's.. one which is linked to the bioware social stuff and one that is the one EA automaticly uses when you enter a game in your xbox and state "sign in to server"...

For that reason I am missing the signature edition stuff and other stuff(registered and newsletter game item for instance)

I did sent an email, allthou I found the way that you can state a question has been made very difficult.

How can you change the bioware - ea link?? I cannot change anything, like add gamertag or change email on the bioware profile... Heck, I'm scared that if I delete one of the 2 masterID's I will also loose my BF3 beta code :)

I will wait a day and then call the Dutch EA helpdesk.

why o why did they not just use xbox codes?!?

Well EA support couldn't help at all for Xbox 360 problems, went on live chat with a technician, they even gave me new codes to put in AND checked i was putting them on the right account, after no success they said a "Senior" technician would get back to me within 24 hrs...

today i received an email from that "senior tech" and all they could provide was a standard troubleshooting template which almost boiled down to "turning the console off and on" it was that basic...

There is no hope lol

The dragon age 2 Australian help line charges $2.48 per minute. As quoted in the manual.

Disgusting. I have used live chat and tried many things and still do not have access to Ser Isaac's armour despite inputting the code and it showing in my list on this site.

I hear you all and feel your pain. I have the signiture edition DA2 game and besides that I payed a small fortune for codes for other items on Ebay. I even played the Facebook game (with regret) and unlocked two other items. Now they are all showing in my lists of downloaded content on my bioware account but I dont have any in my game.
I contacted live help 4 times and 4 times it ended with, "Someone will contact you in 12-24 hours!". Still nothing!!
I really enjoy EA games but this is going to have an effect on whether or not I buy another. I am really pissed because I did pay alot extra on ebay for extra content and I cant enjoy.
Even if I get a reply telling me they are tryng to fix it I would be happy but nothing at all??? I just want to play the game for a second playthrough with all my dlcs and I cant.
Hopefully someone will email me or post a way to fix the problem on here. Thanks for listening!!!!!!
P.S.--OH YEAH!!!! My email and everything is the same on my bioware account as on my xbox!!

They treat us like we're all idiots. I honestly can't stand EA anymore. I've talked to tech over the phone and on support.ea.com and they seem completely incapable of fixing anything for me. I've gone through all the motions they said would fix my problem (including deleting my nearly finished warrior file) to no avail, and only to have them say "Are you sure your account is linked to the correct gamer tag."

What would have been so difficult about using xbox marketplace DLC codes for all of the promotional items. Half of them are rewarded for giving your email, so why not have a dlc code emailed to you once you sign up for the newsletters. And for the SE items, just put the codes in the box.

I really can't see their logical reasoning behind using this buggy and all in all worthless network they've patched together with elmer's glue and cardboard.

I've been having the same problem with the Bonus Items on Dragon Age II.

Items that i am Missing, STILL:
-Staff of Parthalan
-Boots of the Frozen Wastes
-Lion of Orlais Shield and Fadeshear Sword

I have sent EA 3 emails about this and it still hasn't resolved my problem, they gave me two Promo Codes for Boots of the Frozen Wastes and Lion of Orlais Shield and Fadeshear Sword, they went through fine and i checked my Registered Game Content and it says they were Unlocked in my game, as for the Staff of Parthalan i know you have to sign-up for the Dragon Age II newsletter and i have done this twice and says it has unlocked in my game too, but the 3 items i'm missing are not in my chest when i load up my game, i even started a new game and still none of the items are in the chest. I have done everything EA have told me to do and still nothing...

My EA, Bioware Account are the same when it signs into the EA/Dragon Age II servers on the Dragon Age II main menu. I seem to be having the exact same problem as ISLANDFOCUS, so if anyone can help that be great, thanks...

i even sent a personal email to that chris priestly here on the forums. He is the one that starts alot of the threads for bioware and guess what??    5 times speaking with live support and 5 times I was told I would get help and nothing??? Some answers would be nice??

Sent an email to EA and still no reply, why couldn't they just use the Xbox 360 scratch card codes as they always go through with no problems.
EA or Bioware don't seem to be doing anything to fix this problem as it has happened to quite alot of people...

Errr yeah i know how to redeem my codes as i have done this sooooooooooo many times, don't EA or Bioware GET IT! Our Bonus Items are NOT appearing in the game, is that so hard to understand.
They go on about telling us how to redeem these stupid codes, do they think were dumb or something...
