The Gamestop employee just told me to "follow the instructions." It brought me here. Only problem is that my in-game email account is different from the one I use here. Do I need to call them to fix this?

The problem I'm having is that all the codes I put in were good and didn't show up. I got new codes from the tech help, and put those in also. Still nothing. Tech help said to post in fourm so the developers can be made aware of this and hopefully patch it. I cant even get the Facebook content. Frustrating. For the XBOX users, they should make all codes go through the marketplace. Those were the only 2 codes that worked for me. The ones entered on the website did not.

i have been following the forum's and staying on EA's & Bioware's ass....... its rathering sickening that we as the consumer are made all these glorious promises for reserving and purchasing these games day one, and because EA and Bioware either REFUSE to do things the easy way (like for me, putting ALL content on the market place on Xbox Live) or when they have messed up, pushing the content thru. I have been onlive chat several different times, and gotten several different responses each time. the thing i still dont understand is why cant they just say oops, we ****ed up again, let us just reissue this content to you. i mean if u sit and say "oh i see u are entitled to this content", then send me the content OVER AND OVER again until i tell u hey, its showing up in my game.

placate the consume dont try to make us feel dumb as if this is our first rodeo. why on earth would they change the setup for getting content from how it was done in dragon age origins and awakening??

I have also been on there ass. I contacted live help once again for the 5th time and it ended the same way. "Higher support will contact you in 12-24hrs!" Well I heard that 5 times and its been a week and still nothing.
I even went as far as to tell them to delete anything associated with my email and I would star over and they said they cannot do that???? Why? I would even delete all my saved files and everything. I just want to play the damn game.
At this point in time I am really pissed. If I do not hear from them today and get this resolved I am getting rid of all my ea/bioware products and never buying another. I will also make sure that people know what happened as well.
Please keep me updated. If anyone comes up with a solution or recievesn help please post and I will do the same. Good luck guys!!!!!!!!!!!Image IPB

Here's my latest response from EA "support". Thought you all might get a chuckle out of it if nothing else. It might be a setting, or maybe a peripheral, or maybe a saved game, or... well, you can read it if you want.

Strange that my account entitlements don't match up here on the website before I even turn the Xbox on though. Hard to believe that any of the reasons they give have anything to do with that.  Under "Your registered game content" I am entitled to about 10 items.  Under Dragon Age II, Unlocks, only 3.  Those 3 showed up in the game.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

I apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced due to this issue. I understand this situation can be frustrating, and I am happy to assist you in any way possible. Please be informed that currently there is an issue where the 'unlockables' menu is not properly reflecting what is actually unlocked on your account right away (it will eventually). This does not, however, reflect what you will actually find in the Special Deliveries chest in Gamlen's house.

If your account is entitled to any particular item you should do the

1. Verify that your EA Online account directly matches your Social.Bioware.com account login
2. Verify that you are in fact logged in to the EA Online Account
3. Go to Gamlen's House in low town and check inside the Special Deliveries chest for your items

Also, sometimes certain configurations can conflict with your game. Set any controller, sound, and video settings to their default setting. This an be done deleting the game's settings information from the hard drive. Try playing the game again.

This could also be an issue involving corrupt game save files. You will need to remove game related save data by following the below given steps.

1. Power on the Xbox without a game disc inside to display the Xbox dashboard.
2. Select Memory and press A
3. Select Hard Disc and press A
4. Scroll through the save games until you find your specific game.
5. Press the A button while selecting a files to delete them.
6. Confirm deletion when prompted.
7. Repeat until you no longer see any of the game files left on the Xbox hard disc.
8. Restart system with game inside. Try running your game again.

This issue can also be due to any NON-OFFICIAL Peripherals connected to your console. Please unplug all non-official peripherals connected to your console. The easiest way to ensure this is to unplug any peripherals except for the official licensed controllers that came with the system. This includes any memory cards or network adaptors. When the console is starting up it will calibrate the controllers. Do not move the thumb sticks or press any of the buttons until the EA logo appears.

Example of non-licensed equipment manufacturers: Nyko AirFlow, MadCatz
MicroCon, Mad Catz Dual Force 2.

If the issue persists, try clearing console cache, follow these steps:

1. Locate the System section of the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
2. Select Memory, select Hard Drive, and then press Y to view the device options screen.
3. On the Controller, press the X, Left Bumper, and Right Bumper buttons in this order: X, X, LB, RB, X, X
4. You will be prompted to confirm system maintenance, select Yes by pressing A.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

LMAO!!!!! I feel your pain. I finally got a response and its almost as stupid as that answer. They must think we are all idiots and they are just not reading our complaints. I have tried everything in your reply ten times as well as mine. Its damn crazy. I laughed my ass off when I read that they are trying to blame it on a none microsoft controller. I dont think I have ever heard anything so damn stupid. They just dont get it.
I am getting so god damn tired of all this. I think I might just sell the damn game and give up on bioware/Ea all together. I am so pissed right now.
Thanks for all the replies. Please keep me updated and I will do the same.

Yep its so rediculious EA blaming it on all those things, dont they get it that there is an actual fault with the game or the stupid promo codes they give us, STOP putting the blame on other things that have nothing todo with this problem. Trust me you could do all that and still nothing will happen. <_<

I've had enough now, really...Gonna complete Dragon Age II ASAP and get £20-£30 Trade In and spend the money on a decent game that you can actually play to the max with all DLC, Bonus Items etc...

Hey ISLANDFOCUS i'd give up if i were you, obviously EA/Bioware aint intrested in sorting this out as they keep fobbing us off with all these stupid solutions. By the time they sort this out Dragon Age II will be old and we're all be playing better games, i aint waiting around forever... Good Luck, IF this problem is ever resolved...

I have contacted live support 5 times and every time I was told that I would hear from someone in 12-24 hours and still nothing. I even contacted the two guys that start all the threads on this forum and they havent done anything either!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As far as I am concerned they can all kiss my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya now that I see I am not the only person with the problem I feel better.... Everything on my Registered game content is not showing up in my box. I was helped previously as i changed my Windows Live ID and it still said mine was linked to my old so they changed that for me then when I told the Support team he gave me a code for my SE content which happened to be a Black Emporium code I don't know how those are the same HaHa... I love Bioware as they have never really made a bad game, but they do have alot of problems with DLC and Bonus Items for some reason. If there was no Bonus Items no one would be complaining about not getting them. Hopefully here soon they just have a single download in the Marketplace to get everything. Tbh I just want my SE content as this is what i payed for the other stuff would be nice to have to just to mess around with, but you gotta pick your battles with people.

So I talked to ea support the day after release, and was told that the systems were just backed up and in a week your content should show up. STILL no content, accounts are properly linked and some items have showed up. On a positive note, the guy gave me a 20$ credit on my next ea purchase.

Since I have been one of the more vocal antagonists in this thread, I thought it would be only fitting that I update my personal status. It took them a while but with a little patience the guys and gals have indeed got everything straight with my account and I now have all of my swag. I would highly recommend making a second or third call if you have to, there are some sharp folks there.

Heh, you think you guys have it bad? Some of their servers are actively refusing connection to my gamertag. (My ps3, connected to the same router and associated with the same EA account, can connect fine.) I'm having this issue with Dead Space 2 as well as Dragon Age 2 - it just gives me a "Cannot connect to [EA/Dragon Age] servers. Please try again." error. I reported this a week *before* Dragon Age 2 came out, and I STILL haven't gotten my issue fixed. It's been four weeks now. So while I have all this great bonus content unlocked and associated with my EA account, I can't access any of it because I can't connect to the server to get it unlocked in the actual game!

I'm pretty pissed about this. My ticket was opened on February 25, and my issue still has not been fixed!

I gotta say it is very very frustrating but Rob Bartel has been helping me alot and I am confident that he will take care of me.
I am not saying they are right guys and I still think they should make all there dlcs redeemable on the xbox. But I have to give credit where credit is due.
I now have every single dlc and item for my DA2 and I just finished my third playthrough and I may add that I kicked ass with the help of my items at the beginning in year one.
Now I hope my NE2 items will be fixed.
