Can anyone tell me how to avoid killing my party members in night terrors...i dont want to lose them?

Yes. You get them back. It's not a real death, you just give them a whupping in the fade, and then you need to talk to them about what caused them to betray you (obviously, this varies depending on the character) and you can gain friendship or rivalry points.

I was worried about this too, but decided to go ahead with it and see what happened in the end. You get apology quests from those who succumbed to the temptation. After words.

Merrill betrayed me (well, not surprised), I gave her such a stern talking too at her house I think I gained like 50 rival points.

They don't 'really' die and there is no way around them betraying you from what I've seen. I suggest that you bring weak party members and Anders with you so it is easier to complete.

Anyone know what we're supposed to do with the barrels? I keep moving them around and trying to make them all solid, but they just summon demons when I move certain barrels. Certainly there must be more to this, I figure if I move the barrels just right I'll earn more attribute points.
