The title of the thread says it all. This is a place to discuss Zevran's cameo in Dragon Age 2.

I know that the fan-base is eager to know, for example, if fully romanced Zevran, when the proper save is imported from DA:O, recognize the romance with the Warden.

Unfortunately, I'm still at Act One. Does anyone know how he responds if in love with the Hero of Ferelden?

Haha, I definitely need to know if the romance between him and my warden is acknowledged. When I made my male Dalish elf I was planning to romance Morrigan, but Zevran started to fascinate me so much I went with him instead He really is a rounded character when you get to know him. Definitely one of my favorite characters, in anything, nevermind just Dragon Age.

Friend told me that it isn't and he flirted with his Hawke and (Zevran) slept with Isabela immediately after.

Now I need to do another playthrough and hope that I keep Isabela from running off with the relic. Just to be seen with Zevran. >.>

Just to see if either one of them mentions that foursome she had with Leliana, Zevran, and my Warden.

I got to ask if was the Zevran of legend and he said "yeah lol" and that was about as deep as it went into DA:O territory, but I didn't romance him

He didn't acknowledge his romance with my Warden, no, which made me a little sad, but I was so happy to see him, I got over it.

Won't he sleep with Hawke if you didn't romance him in Origins?  If he was in love with the Warden, he won't do it, I think.  So that's something.

He seemed pretty keen to sleep with my Hawke, the only reason he didn't was because Anders was all "AHEM" when he offered. And he was in love with my Warden. So ...

That Warden had both Morrigan and Zevran in love with him at the end, though, so maybe that messed it up. If nothing else, it lets me rationalize that Zevran and my Warden have an open relationship.

Zevran tried to get with my Hawke and Fenris said something like he was going to rearrange Zevran's face. It was pretty funny. I loved Zevran though, so it was good to see him again.

The actual Anders quote was pretty funny. Zevran asked if I would like to get to know him better, and Anders was all, "What's there to know, it seems pretty much all there on the surface!" Seemed like a pretty amusing snap at the people who complained Zevran was too shallow (which we all should know he is not ).

I am annoyed that Zevran made no reference to his relationship with my Elf Mage Warden. Oh well, Hawke slept with him anyway.

For curiosity and comparison, from the guidebook:

• If Isabela is in your party, she and Zevran will engage in coquettish banter; Zevran may also playfully engage with Hawke. However, if you are using an imported world state from Dragon Age: Origins in which the Hero of Ferelden ended the game in a relationship with Zevran, his approach will be rather less flirtatious.
• On the strict proviso that Zevran was not in a relationship with the Warden (living or dead) in an imported Dragon Age: Origins world state, there's additional fun to be had. If Isabela is in your party, she will proposition Zevran. Select the "All right, I'm game" option if you are currently romancing the Rivaini to initiate a threesome.

It sounds like this isn't exactly what's happening, for at least some people. Is the guidebook just incorrect? Or slightly misleading?   Is there a bug? Are there additional conditions somewhere that are (or are not) being met? Hmm...

And of course, this doesn't say a thing about what Zev may or may not say about the Warden...

The only thing during the Zevran quest that may have mentioned him being in a romance with the Warden was one of the crows saying "your warden" but that's hardly anything to go by. Was disappointed truthfully.

He showed up in the last boss battle to help out though, strangely enough. Was pleasantly surprised about that.

Weirdly, I still havent got a chance to meet Zevran, could anyone be kind enough to tell me where to find him?

In Act 3 next to the entrance to the Blooming rose will be a quest giver who starts your meeting with him.

Do you have to have Isabella as a companion for this to trigger? I never recruited her into my party.

I don't know if you need to have recruited her, but you don't need her in the party at least.

What the guide says is reassuring, but I would be more satisfied if someone who actually imported a Zev-romanced save can vouch for the attendibility of the official guide. Are you playing the game with an imported save? I am, but I'm a very slow player and I'm still at Act One

I was hoping Fenris would've done the same thing that part but he didn't! Lol maybe it's because I also had Isabela with me. :happy:

No, she ran off in my game and I still got the quest in Act 3.

Edit: I made a save before I talked to Zevran and clicked on every single heart icon. He just flirted with me, but I never saw the option to sleep with him. I did not import a romanced Zevran game. At best, he was at "interested" or "adore" status the whole game (I didn't realize I had triggered it since I was speed-chatting all the companions in camp) and when Morrigan pointed out doing the DR for his benefit, I broke up with him just before the archdemon fight. Maybe I broke up with him too late and his romance flag still imported, I don't know. Isabela was not present in this encounter.

My next game will be a Zevran romance import, but it takes sooooo long to get to Act 3 before Zev's cameo shows up so any answers won't be coming from me. =p

Edit 2: OK, I see what happened. I thought if I let Zevran go, that was it so I had been telling him he had to come with me anyway. That's why I never saw Zevran offer the chance to sleep with Hawke. He definitely came back after I let him go and after the fight, he made the offer. Unfortunately, my love interest was Fenris, who was in the group and he was having NONE OF THAT. LOL. So Zevran politely took his leave. =D

I'm going slowly as well, but I am using a Zev-romanced save that appeared to import with all correct decision flags.    I think there will be other confirmations (or denials) by the time I get to Act 3, though.

So far, I haven't heard anything from people playing Zev-romanced saves that indicates he is "less flirtatious".
