I edited my post again too late. I had been taking the wrong dialogue options. To get the offer for a more personal reward, you must let him go. (I thought he wouldn't show up again so I had insisted he come along with me anyway. Never got the proposition this way.)

But he flirted with you? I could stand the "no allusions" thing - even if I'm certainly disappointed if this is really it - but if a romanced Zevran makes a pass at Hawke I will be supremely pissed off

Don't know how I feel about that redesigned Zevran...at least he isn't as Halla-ish looking as the rest of em.

My first playthrough for DA2, I imported my CE Female with a hardened Alistair on the throne, did the DR, killed Loghain, deposed Anora, and a fully completed Zevran romance. I should be finishing up Act 2 and satarting on Act 3 tonight. So I'll let you know how it goes! So for the other flags for that game have imported properly.

Oddly enough, my femHawke looks somewhat like my Dalish elf I played.....looking forward to importing that one too, she did the US with a fully romanced Zevran.

Found him, since I didn't import my CE elf with a romance, I can't tell you guys if it recognizes and I'm not planning on using my CE Warden jsut yet.

Zev looks like he had a freaking stroke in DA2.

Nah... my first playthrough was with a Zevran who was in love with the Warden, but he happily slept with Hawke anyway. I don't know if it is a glitch or if the guidebook is wrong, either way it was unfortunate.

He showed up in the last boss battle to help out though, strangely enough. Was pleasantly surprised about that.

It sounds like this isn't exactly what's happening, for at least some people. Is the guidebook just incorrect? Or slightly misleading?   Is there a bug? Are there additional conditions somewhere that are (or are not) being met? Hmm...

And of course, this doesn't say a thing about what Zev may or may not say about the Warden...

Oh my, I didn't notice this thread 'till now. Shame on me.
I can answer your doubts fully here, I've tried all the possible outcomes. My imported Warden slept with Zevran (recognized in the import save state), romanced Zev (not recognized as we know). Even if it was not true, the save state said that the Warden and Zev slept with Isabela. In this case, if Isabela is present, Zevran asks her if the Champion is "as adventurous as our Warden"...and Isabela says "I don't know, we can always ask." In this first dialogue you can flirt as you have seen in many videos, nothing changes.

Now, I didn't romance Isabela (just 100 friendly). This is what happens at the end:

Zevran: My dear Isabela, it has been a delight to see you again. You travel in fine company.
Isabela: That's it? You're leaving? What about sex?
Zevran: Ah, Isabela. I did so miss you.
Isabela: That's because you have ******-poor aim. Thankfully, you've other uses.

And they walked away, Zevran didn't even try to flirt with my Champion nor I could say anything in that dialogue. But they did!





Totally love the last one, that look of comradeship...Zevran does miracles uh?

Notice that the presence of Isabela blocks Zevran proposal to Hawke, and eventually even the "jealous" reaction of your LI. When I didn't take her, Zevran proposed himself, the usual "nimble fingers" line.

Anders recognizes him as the one who helped the Hero of Ferelden too in the first dialogue. Nuncio says something like "This time there isn't your Warden to save you". Zevran just adds that he doesn't understand why they think they can kill people like Hawke or the Warden.

The codex entry for Zevran for totally worth it. I can screen it for you if you wish, I was grinning satisfied while reading it, I totally imagined my Warden breaking havoc with him, since my Awakewning ending assumed so!

It was such a relief to see Zevran again. At that point, everything was just so doleful and miserable. My companions have amplified the drama by 50x and one of them caused the death of someone. I was just ready for a bit of humor already. Thankfully, Zevran delivered. He even propositioned m!Hawke and offended Anders, but I guess some things never change.

I admit I'm disappointed with Zevran not recognizing my Warden's relationship ~ I hope it's just a flag issue and something that can be fixed later. But it was worth it to get Fenris' "MINE" response.

I have reached this area, but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the Quest to trigger him.

Then I remembered Alistair making his remark, and realized he won't be making an appearance.

The Warden killed him during the Ambush. So for me, that is working, at least.

I had a romanced-Isabela in my party, so the game didn't recognize the Zev-romance from Origins. That made me sad.

I also didn't see Zevran show up at the final battle, which from the screenshots above, is supposed to happen. I could just be blind though.

Either way, I got ripped off.

I think it was called "A Murder of Crows", you can take it from Nuncio outside the Blooming Rose in Act3.

That's a pity...Zev wandered off with Izzy in my playthrough, despite importing a Zevran-romance save. Didn't flirt with Hawke at all, though.

Mind you, the Zevran romance seems doomed to be buggy...remember his letter in Awakening? Crossing my fingers that the guide is correct and this is just a bug. (On a more pessimistic note though, the guide apparently got the moving-in-with-Fenris bit wrong, so it's not 100% accurate...but I'd hate to think that Zev's dumped his warden.)

My Hawke received the Zevran proposition, followed by angry Fenris "MINE!" snarl ("Not unless you want me to test that famous luck of yours..." *deathglare*). I think I flirted with the elven assassin only once previously. Isabela wasn't in my party, and my Warden hadn't romanced him.

Not a fan of his new face.

Zevran also showed up during the final battle for me. That made me grin.
