I'll ask here since this is clearly a more spoilerish thread than the Zev one in the Origins section....

I completed the game today, I was so eager to see Zev and Nate in the last fight, but it never happened I saw Bethany and Donnic, Varric and Isabela joined while not in party...but no one esle. Might be because I had too many people already around? Might be because I played it on casual? I tried to reload the auto save but Hawk just throws herself at the door and I can't change the difficulty before the fight, I'l have to replay the last bit when I have time and create a better manual save Obviously I did their side-quests....

(I doubt Fenris scared him that much being jelous!)

he didnt show up in final battle for me that i noticed anyhow, but i took him with me to the crows rather than let him go at first since i thought maybe he would just leave all together x.x.
had Zevran romance warden import both times on my mage and rouge and both times he flirted with my manhawk and fenris looked ampd to swat Zevran with a brickwall.
i doubt Zevran would dump my warden(s) specialy given awakening end comment and letter.
not that id let him leave anyhow.

I think the Warden has simply disappeared by the time we see him. It's been five years (IIRC). I certainly wouldn't want him to pine.

It still makes me not want to import my Zevran-loving Warden.

I wouldn't like him to pine, but I would like him to attempt to search for Rona and rescue her from whatever horrible plot dungeon she's been kidnapped and placed in.

Who's to say he's not?  He's just got to deal with the Crows first.

And even if romanced, I can't blame him for Isabella.  Sleeping with her is just something one does.  To paraphrase Anders.

That's true.  And I just remembered that Rona and Zev both slept with Isabela anyway, so she'd probably approve. XD

God, I love that laugh.  Zev:  the sanest, least dramatic LI in Dragon Age.

As with Zev joining in the end, you only get a few extra people. You have your party + cullen, which is a necessity ~ and then your brother/sister (depending on if they're around), party members, Donnic, Zevran, Nathaniel (in that order). So if you have too many people, the last ones won't show. I think it's a total of 8 or 10... also, Dog counts, so send him away if you want the chance to see more. They'll show up after each Meredith cutscene.

I saw Zevran in DAII and got a little sad over his redesign, then he started talking and it didnt bother me anymore. He's still Zevran. He flirted with my Hawke and offered, but Fenris turned him down.

Ah, I suspected that much!

So I'll just let my brother die in this playthrough, so I can see Fenris kidnapped and Zev in the last battle...and maybe to see Nate I'll just won't bother to get friendly/rivalry points with Isabela. 

It's going to be a wicked playthrough.

I find it wierd that Isabela calls Zevran's aim poor after he expertly throws a knife into someone's eye from a considerable distance.

It's a bug.  His dialog is supposed to be different if in a romance with the warden (US or not).  I've looked at the talk table -- we're getting the wrong dialog there if you romanced Zevran.

Edit: Zevran remains faithful to the warden if they were romanced.  *sigh*  He gets all the good bugs, doesn't he :/

Zevran turning up in the last battle wast a pleasant surprise for me. There I was clearing out the fifty bazillion slave statues and and went 'hey, who's tanking those tw- OMG IT"S ZEV!!!' Lifted my mood after all the doom and misery of Act Three just to see him there.

Yeah, the redesign was really quite horrible and therefore completely unnecessary. He's certainly not "ridiculously handsome" anymore. What do the others think about the new looks? the topic was pretty much avoided so far... Any opinions?

But new looks or not...it was fun to talk to him again. Great Cameo!

I think he shines and he is a beauty among elves. Considered the new model, it could have been much much worse. He still resembles the old Zevran.
And I was one of those that really couldn't stand to look the first leaked screen we had. I was even worried about the new "shoeless elves" thing. But I was happy to see that he had his leather boots

Yeah, it was fun to talk to him even because at that point the story was so grim and sad that just hearing his cheerful tone and jokes was a relief.

I didn't like his redesign that much. It wasn't horrible but I liked the original way better -.- I do understand why they had to do it though. His old design wouldn't have fit in at all after seeing the redesigned elves.

I replayed the last battle a couple times just because I got so excited he joined in

The leaked shot was actually worse than he appeared in the final product, so I was pleasantly surprised.

ejoslin: It was Moira's bugged romances I imported. I was just surprised either Zev or Alistair acknowledged her.
