Is anyone else getting an issue where an error pops up after the PRESS ANY KEY screen notifying you that there is no disc in drive?  I click cancel or okay four times and it goes away... but now the game crashes when I try to adjust the graphics (it didn't before).

This game doesn't require the disc in drive, so I'm not sure why it's giving me that error message.

I am having the same issue. Going to try restarting the computer and see if that helps

I'm getting the same thing. Whenever I try to connect to the EA Server, I get an error saying that Drive a: is open (or something to that effect), which is pretty funny since my PC doesn't have an A: drive!
I had this with the Demo too, but didn't worry about it then. Now, it's annoying me because I have to log in to get the DA:Legends swag, but that gets this error.
If I click "Continue" on the pop-up dialog then the game proceeds to play, but the "Full Screen" video option gets unchecked somehow and I'm logged out of my EA account.
VERY ANNOYING.
It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but I've only NOT gotten this error once or twice so it's darn well near most of the time. Saw a posting on another forum and the suggestion there was to re-install, but apparently it didn't help. Since I got the error with the Demo and now with the full game, I'm guessing it's a bug.

I am also getting a no cd in drive error, which is odd since I have the digital download from the ea store, and therefore there is no cd in existence. It goes away if I click continue three or four times. The windows navigation bar comes up, but clicking on the dragon age 2 icon brings me back into full screen mode. Haven't noticed any of the other issues that people have mentioned, but also haven't tried adjusting graphics since the problem started occurring. Only happens to me shortly after I start up the game, then doesn't repeat until I exit and try to start it up again.

I just installed, and am getting this issue as well. I also don't have an A drive, and its certainly not open. I just click the Try Again button and it goes away immediately. It happens when its trying to sign in...

Very weird.

Same issues. Wife's computer is experiencing the no disc in drive error after press any key screen. My mac plays the game just fine on os x though. Very weird. So far the only thing that has happened is tlhe game crashing right at the Ogre part of the opening. Sucked real bad so we walked away from it and are about to get back to trying again today...

Folks, this is not a new issue. Use Google / Yahoo Bing

No Disk site:http://social.bioware.com/forum/1

I believe the answer / fix was quite simple.

I am also getting both these bugs, the no disc and the full screen video option.  Anyone find a work around?

Thanks.

What?

What he means is do a search in google with this string: No Disk site:http://social.bioware.com/forum/1
You'll find several threads on the matter, most of which contain workarounds which worked for other people you can try.
I believe this issue is also adressed in the beta patch:
http://social.biowar...0/index/6482838

Disable your, most likely non-existent, floppy drive is device manager. If you don't want to download the beta patch that is.
