According to my save file, I'm at around 28 hours so far, and I just finished act 2. I also take things pretty slow, watch all the cutscenes, do all the side quests etc.

I'm about the 28 hour mark and I'm just finishing the first act - finished everything.
Are the other two just as long? As the first, that is.

Man you gotta be lousy at tis game. Even at the toughest difficulty and 20 laps around each part of the town after every quest wouldn't give you 28 hours after just the first act.

.... 28 hours for act 1? What have you been doing? Or what have I missed? Anyways, Act 1 and act 2 are about the same length. I found act 3 to be quite a bit shorter.

I found acts 1 and 2 to be comprable in length.  I just started 3, so I cant comment on it yet.

I'm playing on Nightmare, but I'm not dying much at all.
A couple fights here and there, but even then, I reload the game and the clock resets.

I'm about 38+ hrs in and I'm nearing the end of act 2. If you do every quest, every cut scene, every little side quest, and actually spend time developing your characters instead of just throwing points into them; it's easy to get a lot of hours out of this game. If I only got 20-30 hrs out of and RPG I would be disappointed. I'm just saying, enjoy it; you paid good money for it.

Act 3 is pretty short.

From my understanding there are people playing Nightmare that are clocking in over 50 hours (max seems to be 70) on this game. My first character clocked in 30 to finish, although there were some things I wasn't able to do or hadn't quite figured out. Like hunting gangs.

My second playthrough has been considerably shorter, because I know where to go and what to do.

I skip a lot of dialogue and cutscenes because once I've read something I don't feel like I need to hear it. Turn off your subtitles! They're evil.
