Morrigan Concept Art Face Modification v 2.0 by Drakonnen

This will replace the default head of Morrigan with a much nicer head, that more closely resembles the concept art and actually makes her attractive for a change (in my opinion)! Although the concept art varies some in style and coloration of things such as her eyes, my favorite concept art of her, which is in the example screenshot, has her with blue eye shadow and bluish eyes. Considering that's the concept art they used of her on the package, though recolored red, I though it was fitting to try and get her to look as close to that as possible.

Version 2.0 adds additional color refinements to more closely match the concept art including icier blue eyes and purple lips.

Version 2.0a is a heavily requested alternate version that had my facial modifications but gives Morrigan back her original yellow eyes, and also squints them up a bit to more closely resemble the original game version of her...albeit far more refined looking, in my opinion.

To Install, extract the hf_genfl_morrigan.mor file to My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\packages\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\core\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\override\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ folder.

Disclaimer:
If you don't like the changes I made, or have something against modifications in general to the original characters, simply don't use the mod!

Otherwise, please enjoy.

Nice works. Looks a lot less menacing though!

Nice!

Personally, I still prefer the final version though, it fits the character well. However, your face mod is very close to the artwork, and very well done.

Yeah, but in the concept art and on the package/box, she doesn't look menacing. She looks hot, lol.

I tried to resemble the concept/package art as close in looks and coloring as possible.

In my opinion, the Morrigan they ended up with looks horrendously alien, compared to what they try to show you on the box.

Aye, I still prefer the face they ultimately went with, but for those that prefer the original concept look, there you go.

I like how the original Morrigan just fine. In fact, I have no desire to change her at all.

But nevertheless, good work! I'm sure people will love it.

Thanks. :)

I got to the part where I got her in my party, knew she was a potential romance choice from some spoilers and just couldn't stand dragging her around with me as ugly as she was, let alone actually making a play for her.

Still not sure in what world the original Morrigan was anything close to ugly, but again, variety is a good thing.

^^ The sacred ashes look is the most fitting in my opinion. Looks more realistic in my opinion. I think the in-game version is a bit to glamorous.

Now that's ugly. That's not to say that it's bad. No reason Morrigan should have to be attractive, but she certainly is not in that movie.

Pretty, and that's the problem right there... I think the cat eye colour should be there to stay.

Loaded it up, looks great in game. Definitely seems more human. She does look less menacing but compared to the normally somewhat alien appearance that she had to begin with I'll be sticking with this for some time.

Btw, do you have any interest in doing any of the other characters? Sadly I can think of one in particular that looks like it was randomly genreated.

You know what I'd like? A mod that gives her that hood when she has a mage helm on...

It's very well made, and it does look more like the concept art. However, it makes Morrigan look softer, not as much of a cold hearted **** (not so at all actually), which is part of what I like about the character. Still, I might try this anyway on a subsequent playthrough.
