Meh she wasn't ugly imo and she isn't at all supposed to be nice...

This is what I don't get:  Is every attractive person you've ever met nice or looked nice?  Is every mean or bad person ugly?

I'm sorry, but its sort of simplistic thinking.  The "prettiest" people can be capable of the ugliest things.

Is there a way to get this mod for the console game? Like Xbox360?

Toolset and mods are PC only.  You're stuck with official DLC only.  As is true for any game like this (like say...Oblivion and Fallout 3)

Looks pretty, but I do prefer the original, fits her character better, IMO.

I think I like the 'original', too, over the one in the concept art.

If I had a choice, tho', I'd have preferred the 'Sacred Ashes' trailer version. Or a Morrigan that more resembled the voice actress. :D

My ex was everything any guy ever wanted looks wise but she was evil to the core so I get your drift. I'm not a simpleton I just find your mod to conflict with Morrigan's charcter overall. Some backwoods witch imo may not be a canidate for Victoria Secret covergirl.

For now, but it might not always be so, If Unreal Tournament 3 can do it, i am sure Dragon AGe could, even thought they probably won't because most people think console players are morons and dont know how to do mods:P

Very nice work! I too love your version. Hope you can make one for Leliana... to be either like in Secred Ashes or her concept art.

Working on it now.  I'm actually having trouble deciding if her eyes are blue or slightly greenish in the Sacred Ashes trailer.  They almost look like a pale green to me, which there is no option for, so I'm still figuring out how I'm going to work her.

In the concept art, her eye's look kinda brown or reddish, so I'd think Amber eyes are the best bet based on that, but I'm still up in the air.

I prefer the original. I must admit I actually like the version of her in the Sacred ashes trailer. Seems to fit her personality, Sure if you pause it in certain moments she looks a bit ugly but most people look like that in pictures when they're talking/making faces etc.

Sorry, but Bioware's version is far superior. It actually has character, as opposed to looking like a generic brunette barbie doll.

I have no idea why anybody over the age of 12 would think the bubble-eyed cheerleader look is attractive or interesting in any way.

... your post is essentially "I don't understand why people find classicly beautiful type girls attractive"

Oh my....  It may surprise you to know that the cheerleader image that you find "perfect" would never, ever have been considered beautiful in the classical period -- or by any artistic period influenced by classical art.  I suggest you go look at some actual classical or neo-classical art to see what really is beautiful.  The infantile wide-eyed little girl image you're preferring is hardly considered beautiful by most adult, cultured people in the world.

Good Work but I too like the original. I find the changed face too doe eyed and naive looking to fit Morrigan's personality.

I never said anything about something being perfect, so you're improperly quoting.

Oh, yes, I should go look at some classical and neo classical art, because when I said classic beauty, clearly I meant throughout every era and area of human history, rather than referring to what the classic notions are as relates to the modern world.

Most of the people in the thread, even if they prefer the old one as fitting their sense of the character, find the new version attractive.

I'm glad you feel you can speek for the majority of the adult, cultured people in the world, lol.  You're such a well cultured player of brutal video games I'm sure, lol.

I'll drop you a message when the New Morrigan Face Mod (Based on classical and Neo-classical art) comes out. :D

Let me also say this. I made this piece based off the concept art on the box (for the 50th time).

If you think the concept art of her is ugly, then she is an ugly character, and my mod is an appropriate rendering of said ugliness, but it still better reflects the concept art and packaging then the current in game version. :)

Me, I think the concept art makes her look like more of an attractive character, and I find the mod version more attractive as a result.

I did not set out to make the most perfect, ideal and attractive character I could, because there were many things I would have changed had I wanted to do so, as far as facial features, eye color, hair color etc. I simply limited myself to trying to match the concept art as closely as one could get with the toolset (in my opinion).

That concept art simply is more pretty, at least in my opinion, and does reflect her as more of a young woman and is suggestive of some vulnerability, so, yes, I intentionally went for that, or at leasted ended up with that when intentionally trying to copy the artwork.

BioWare Project Download Link : http://social.bioware.com/project/651/

Large, Example Screenshot:
http://i99.photobuck...orriganMod1.jpg (Original Morrigan on the Left, Mod Morrigan in the Center, and Concept Art Morrigan the Mod was based on on the Right)

This will replace the default head of Morrigan with a much nicer head,
that more closely resembles the concept art and actually makes her
attractive for a change! Although the concept art varies some in style
and coloration of things such as her eyes, my favorite concept art of
her, which is in the example screenshot, has her with blue eye shadow
and bluish eyes. Considering that's the concept art they used of her on
the packapge, though recolored red, I though it was fitting to try and
get her to look as close to that as possible.

To Install, extract the hf_genfl_morrigan.mor file to My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\packages\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\core\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\override\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ folder.

Enjoy.

Very nicely done!  She is more attractive in your mod--although she looks less. . .Morrigan-like.  lol

I personally find the Concept art looks like a teenager, under 18, so as she's a romance character I'd be a bit uncomfortable trying to flirt with her.

lol, because in a dark fantasy world statutory rape laws still make us uncomfortable, but whole sale slaughter is golden!

I don't think she looks under 18, but 18-early 20's, yes.  Considering she is just leaving home for the first time, and at least in the human noble origin you're constantly referred to as pup, I assume all these characters are on the younger side.

Unless you made the human old man character who everyone just affectionately refers to as pup, lol.

Ah, I see... "classic beauty" as defined not by any known definition of the word "classic," but by the standards of teenage boys after, say, 1983 or so.  ;)

I have to ask, again:  Who are these people -- people besides adolescents, I mean -- who find vacuous barbie-doll faces -- all with the same identical pin-button noses, the same identical Seventeen-magazine post-pubescent faces -- to be "classically beautiful"?

All I can say is I'm a 29 year old, presumably well educated and cultured individual with a juris doctorate, so thats +1 right there.

Bonus: I'm married to a model, lol.

You certainly over generalize those kind of girls though, particularly by saying they're  vacuous.  My wife has her degree and is one of the smartest people I know, and despite being possessing the type of beauty that constantly makes people swoon over her, no one would even think to consider her anything less than intelligent and quick-witted.

I suppose everyone in this thread who likes the face must be an adolescent.

I think your problem is you're just way to condescending for your own good, not just in the way you talk about those types of girls you're referring to, but in the way you comment on those who find said women attractive.

Yes, its all adolescent boys and their purchasing power who drive the entire market place to pick the people selected as models, be it for fashion and commercial work, mens magazines or even the girls in women's magazines.  I guess they're solely the reason too Victoria's Secret fashion shows always get high ratings, lol.

Looks great tbh but i like the original too, good work though. Makes her look younger and more ... innocent i guess.

looking forward to a Leliana mod. She looks hot in the sacred ashes movie, much better than ingame, which is in total contrast to morrigan in the same movie.

I've taken some screenshots from the Sacred Ashes trailer and am working on it.

What is your opinion on what her eye color is in that trailer?  Its hard to say if its a light blue or light green, even though obviously the original in game has light bluish eyes.
