Has anybody gotten a set of this yet? I've been really hankering to deck my Hawke out in a full set of that armor, since he himself is a Templar. (Wants Mages in the Circle and under restrictions, to boot)

So, anyone seen it yet? I'm relatively far in the game I think and its concerning that I have seen none yet.

Actually, *SPOILERS*















If you side with Knight-Commander Meredith at the end of Act 2 or beginning of Act 3 (Not sure which, I did both however) she'll send a set of Templar Armor to you through the mail, I have it on right now and my Hawke looks like a genuine Templar. I'm very pleased with it. (Now all I have to do is overthrow Knight-Commander Meredith and take over where she left off)

Ooo, does the armor she give you is it, like that lieutenant 's armor on the Tranquility quest? with the cool helm and all? I'm reloading saved killing the templars trying to gain it as drop but none so far =/

Its just the armor though, no helm, gloves or boots to go with it though.

You can get a heavy issue helmet from "shady merchanidse" in act 2, along with light templar armor (what the hunters wear, I think).

Ok here look what i found out...you can get templar pl8 by picklocking a COMPLEX chest right next to the knight-commander meredith's room(the room right of hers) and you will get it. it will proly say like heavy-duty templar armor something issue...im not sure about the other sets but i think i found a pair of gloves called comissioned gauntlets and i also found a templar shield too...and axe

I found out that the Shady Merchant in the docks, sells random items everytime you leave and come back most the items are Templar related, (gloves,plate,axe) trying to get a helmet >.< and also I received a superior templar heavy issue plate off a templar leutenant from the Best Served Cold quest. in Wounded Coast. I want the cooler version of the Templar com/lt. armors with shoulder pads.

ummm i was fighting some templar dudes near gamlens house and one of the douche bags dropped it and so maybe they are like random drops like the chevalier armor in origins?

I was doing Ander's side quest in act 2, at the very end of it when he leaves the party and you are still under ground, I ran past the exit to check one last area, inside a locked chest I found a set of Superior Templar Armor.

ooh, nice wish templar armors were actually good to use..dam bioware

btw. after i got those boots I went back to merchant and got a helmet just a reg templar helm though not the crusader looking 1. and the templar plate armor tha the capts/lts wear is the 1 you gain from Meredith in the letters.

Sh-------- My rogue didn't have enough cunning to open the chest.
I did get a Templar Mace in that mission, its awesome. It has silence effect on it.

You're kidding right?

The earliest you can get a full set of the basic looking Templar Armor is from Bodahn in Act I. Go to Hightown and head to his shop. Check for any Templar gear and if you find none reload the auosave you got upon entering Hightown. Sadly you cannot save in front of his bag as it will not reload his inventory. Rinse and repeat until you have a full set. This is a bit tedious though as he only sells one piece of armor in his shop. It took me about 4 hours, but I ended up with a full set of Heavy Issue Templar armor, Superior Issue Defender (shield) and Templar Axe (one-hand) and a Standard Issue Templar Longsword (one-hand). I also got Light Issue Templar Armor many times which is for rogues, so you can get that from him as well Rogue players. I also heard you can get a Templar Greatsword (two-hand) from him too though I cannot confirm this as I got my Armor set finished before I encountered a GS. Also, the cooler looking Templar Armor can only be obtained by siding with Meredith at the beginning of Act III as far as I can tell.

Hope this helps any Templar players out there and any info on obtaining the Winged Helmet is much appreciated.

Ive got the 2 full sets ( light & hevy ) but were do u get the Templar shield im having to use a 2H becus i cant find the Templar shield?
i wish Aveline's 1 wus not locked

I got a set of actual Templar armor off a Templar at some point during the ending of the game. I think it was on the docks and I sided with the mages and was playing a female warrior.

nvm i found it bordan and the Shady Merchant sell 2 of each set (Light ,Hevy , Super Hevy) + all Templar wepons but i only got it all when i removed the updates for the game.

there is templar armor? well i guess that is 25 hours wasted.

i refused to wear anything in DA1 but the knight commanders plate because of how glorious it is.

i didn't know there was templar armor available in DA2 so i didnt spec into templar

whell yor in luck you dont need the templar skill to use it for some reson and even geting a full set of them takes a long time some times.

Is it just me or are the Templar Hevy / Super Heavy gloves done wrong on the (xbox) when i look at them on mi player thay are prity much black but if u look at them on a Templar thay are the same silver as the armor its like thay dont use the gloves.
