Does Mage Hawke ever use the demonic hands, like from the trailer and the intro of the game ever again? I am really disappointed they haven't returned in gameplay. It doesn't seem to be a magic power and it hasn't happened as another epic death in gameplay. I really thought it was going to be a power to use that is how they made it out to be especially since they showed it in gameplay. Does anyone know if this magic returns in act 3, because this is the act I am on. Anything would be great I really wanted to use this power.
Where are the Demonic Magic Hands?

Yeah, I haven't seen a single finisher the entire time I've played the game. I thought that they were going to be in the game.

Even the cut scene deaths like the Arishok death suck. I really like the gameplay but I mean they showed the power a couple of times and we still can't use it. I am really disappointed Bioware I mean that is so close to false advertisement.

Seriously no one can tell me if they return in the game, I am in the final chapter of DA2 and if they don't come back at all, I will be pretty upset.

The only time I saw them is at the beginning. When you defeat the Ogre during the exaggerated rendition.

There are no finishers in this game, they said it made the battles unresponsive, which to me feels counterintuitive towards the goal: "hit a button, something awesome happens."

Must have been something that they changed at the last moment. It seems bizarre to have that graphic in your marketing material & the beginning of your game and not to have it show up anywhere else >_>

hmm, dunno if ppl know this or not yet or it might have been found out and put up else where though i havent seen anything about it, but a couple of times now ive caused the 'demonic void' arms to pull apart a darkspawn ogre by casting crushing prision on it when it was down to about 1/4 hp, far as i can tell it only happens against the ogres which are few and far between

It is Chrushing Prison. The hands appear if you kill someone with chrusing prison. All though I have only had it happen to Ogres two or three times.

I think they only appear with ogres... But they might appear with all large enemies... but I know they don't show up for human sized ones.esper wrote...
