Mod Request List

Please list why you want it.
*Also SOME of this could be done by bioware if they wish*
The ones I request
1. Combat test scaler
Imo the combat text is far to big and I will refuse to use it unless it is much smaller.
2. Sandal / Bodahn Feddic revoice *and possible remodel closer* to how they where in DA:O
Imo Sandal is the worest of the few he sounds like he just got really fat but they both don't have the same voice acters.
3. Respecalziation
I saw this in awakening and had a mod for it in Orgins I don't know why it was not included *or I don't see it*
What do you guys think that should be a mod?

Personally, I would like a mod that leaves the mage hoods/helms ON for Hawke during dialogue scenes. I actaully like the look of the DA2 mage hoods, moreso than than the lackluster hair.

4. Less gore / dismemberments mod
I mean, really, bodies flying apart from daggers? This is just ridiculous! I liked the mod from the original, and was so used to it i forgot about it until I started playing this one. Gore is good. Overdone gore is silly.

5) White hair for Cassandra. Liked her white hair much more than her black hair.
also 6) Lock bash/open spells to allow warriors and mages to open chests.

7. An item that would let me manually decide how much friendship/rivalry my companions had.

* The ability to change companions armour
* The ability to walk around without a weapon equiped
* New weapon meshes to resize the oversized vanilla weapons (particularly 2-handed weapons)
* New animations to replace/slow down some of the blindingly fast "Anime" looking combat vanilla ones
* New elf models to de-Na'vi-fy the Elves (think DA1)
* Better DA1-like Darkspawn models/textures (except the Ogre - which is great as is)
* Better UI and inventory (I really miss being to view all items in a list like DA1)
* Add selection arrows to the Character Creator sliders for ease of selection
* Advanced Tactics Mod for DA2
* Breast reductions for most of the female meshes
* Standalone character & morph creator / import tool
I know most people will object to some of these things on my wish list. Instead of objecting to what I have on mine, please create your own list.

I'd love it if weapons/armor for mages required only Magic or Willpower or some sort of Arcane Warrior tree if at all possible!
I kno im supposed to put my own wish but you said mine, i mean seriously...most fun spec of DA:O in my opinion...I really dont understand video game companies and making their sequels leave out some of the best aspects of the previous game...its like, they are (or supposed to be) making the game for the people who are going to buy it. You would think they would "give the people what they want"
There is actually a mod on nexus now that removes lvl/stat/class restrictions on weapons and armor so mages can use swords/armor, warriors staffs, ect. i know its not a spec but its a start..

Oh please! Absolutely necessary.LtKillgore wrote...
I'd like to see the hands and ears retextured.
Also, please, could someone do something for Alistair and Teagan? I know, they are only very minor NPCs, but they look so incredibly bad compared to Origins.
Edit: I'd love to have Carver accompany my warrior Hawke, instead of Bethany. It's so hard to play a chantry-friendly Hawke, when she has her little sister around.

You're not the first person to miss it. Open the store in the Black Emporium and look under the potions or usables tab.Randomactss wrote...

You can already change that.
Just go into the OPtion and uncheck (or check idk) the Violence somethingsomething Box.
3. Already in Black Empoirium as the form of Potions you have to buy (for 99 Coppers if I remeber right)
another one: I want my strategic zoom back!

2. Shades knock back mages less, because my god is that annoying when you have a full party of mages lol. Or at least they attack slightly less often, because they knock you back every time and the moment you recover they hit you again so you can't do anything; unless by chance another companion can help. There's probably some other monsters that do the same, but shades stand out.
3. I haven't finished the game yet, but it seems so far like companions can't get a second specialisation like they can in DA:O. If they can then disregard this, but if they can't.. then they should be able to.
4. Rescaled weapons, some are just freaking huge, particularly 2H weapons.

Companions don't have any specializations, they just have their own special companion tree.

Better Textures
I'm honestly a little surprised at how bland most of the textures are in the game, even with the details cranked up. And it's not like the game chokes when it]s cranked up either, the engine appears to be very well optimized. So I'd love to see some much more detailed textures. Get rid of blurry surfaces, make people look less like plastic, the works.
Group Heal
Who's dumb idea was it to put group heal as a sub-function of panacea? Why should my mage have to give up half his mojo just to be even remotely useful to my squad? I'd like to see someone mod this into being as it was in DAO, a separate spell not dependent on any other spells being enabled.
Nudity
Kind of a no-brainer here. I understand that Bioware has to play the ratings game, and that they don't want prude retailers to refuse to stock it because somehow a nipple will cause youngsters to spontaneously combust after sexually violating their teddy bear. It's a line all game developers have to walk. But for us end users, a lack of nudity in sexual situations is pretty dumb. And as amusing as it is for Hawke to apparently do up his fly after getting some (who knew that armour had zippers?), I'd rather the entire affair be replaced by something more realistic and less amusing.
Expanding the Esc Screen
Maybe it's a stylistic choice, but I just can't fathom why the in-game menus are (essentially) 'windowed'. Even at 1920x1080 resolution, the inventory/journal/codex are in that square arrangement in the middle of the screen, while 60% of screen space is wasted. If I can be spared having to constantly scroll just because the thing doesn't fill the screen, I'd love it.
