Is there anyway to have the character creation screen pop up at the beginning of each act (e.g. before entering the Viscount's office in the start of Act 2)?

I know the Dark Emporium lets you do this, but that mirror feels like magic is behind you shaving your head, whereas this would lend itself to the idea that people look different over time.

I would like Ander's Panacea to cost only 5% power (because it does next to nothing) but have a 2 minute cooldown. This would prevent a player from switching in and out of healing mode to blast enemies with other spells, while not stifling Ander's ability to cast the healing spells themselves. I have seen other mods that remove the Panacea requirement altogether, yet I feel this is less thematic.

Does anyone know how to make an item have a certain armor type? I'm trying to mod the Grey Warden Mage Armor, I can't get it to have an armor type. Like Silverite for example. Its kind of vexing since I've been trying for hours to get this armor up to snuff.

I would like to see a mod or a fix for the regeneration ability for which is given with items as well as with the Reaver devour upgrades. As this seems to be broken your health points dont regenerate in battle. Of course neither do your mana/stamina. If any one can fix this bioware or one of the great ones that make the mods I'd be greatful to you and probably allot of others would as well.

Robe of unblemished cleanliness (black emporium) model change from chantry robes to a black silver version of the model heavy velvet robes use.
I would also much obliged if someone could direct me to a tutorial of how to edit and create da2 erf files so I can learn to do these things myself.

The removal of hard caps in stats. Like raising the defense cap against normal ranked mobs from 80% to 100%.

Thats like tunring on god mode, which would literally be easier to do.

You are confusing the Material Type (which deternins the appearance texture/color (e.g. Red Steel, Onyx, Silverite, etc.). Where an armor piece derives its actual stats from is the "properties" section of the item data, designated by with a property value of 5500 (Armor - Heavy), 5501 (Armor - Medium), and 5502 (Armor - Light).

Eh, not entirely.  You're still going to be hit hard by abilities.  I thought defense only applied to basic attacks.  And it's not really only defense that my statement is limited to.  Without the usage of abilities like Control, you're still placed at 100/85/70 for accuracy as a warrior and whatnot.

It sounds like you want to further trivialize combat, in which case, just turning down the difficulty level will achieve that. They capped defense at 80% for a reason. if you don't take any damage from the majority of npc attacks, combat is trivial and boring.

That's not true... you can have 100% accuracy against any rank. Even though you're capped at 100% for normals, if you have over that rating, it still improves accuracy against elites and bosses. So, you can have enough attack rating to hit 130% against normals. That's still only 100% , of course, but it's also 100% against elites and bosses.

Different strokes for different
blokes.  There's really no denying what you said, since I tended to
enjoy Arcane Warriors and DW dex rogues in Origins because of how "trivial" and "boring" they were.  Nevertheless, it's still a request, and I think I'm within the bounds of asking for one even if no one makes it/tells me what to do and you look down upon it or whatever.

That's something that I wasn't aware of.  How can you tell if you have over that 100% threshold?  It scales weirdly, and I'm not a complete expert on the mechanics of this in the game.  That alone just kills my request, lol.

I kno im supposed to put my own wish but you said mine, i mean seriously...most fun spec of DA:O in my opinion...I really dont understand video game companies and making their sequels leave out some of the best aspects of the previous game...its like, they are (or supposed to be) making the game for the people who are going to buy it. There is actually a mod on nexus now that removes lvl/stat/class restrictions on weapons and armor so mages can use swords/armor, warriors staffs, ect. i know its not a spec but its a start..

Why would mage equipment need only one stat while the others need two? The only reason I can think of for wanting this is pumping everything into magic and chugging potions to make up for the lack of willpower, something you can't really do in DA2 anyway, which is fine by me. Also, I support dropping Arcane Warrior. I played it, I enjoyed it, but its power was game-breaking.

@ Led Guardian, I agree with the first part of your response, It would be pointless to make it only have 1 stat req when the 2 stats required are the 2 stats mages NEED in order to be sucessful..In that case it is pointless and you might as well just completely remove the requirements..

What I dont get about all you people who think the AW is "game breaking" and "overpowered" and think it should be removed is that noone forced you to play as them...If you hate them soooo much (or in your case enjoyed it but thought they were too strong), dont play as them..If somone makes a mod that "recreates" the Arcane Warrior, simply dont download it! You dont need to sit there and tell us how much you DONT want an AW spec mod, instead, tell us what kind of mod you DO want..;)

One thing that I think is a necassity to change is the crappy teeth texture when your all bloody!!! Anyone notice when youve just saved somone in a batte and your talking to them after and your front bottom teeth are all wierd and dark red!? now THAT is game breaking...lol What is up with bioware and their dragon age teeth!? first they were all brown and rotten, now there all ****ed up when you bathe in blood...WHATS THE DEAL!!?!?

So... this is an odd one, but a mod to add the cheek gaunt slider back into the CC would be great, I am sure it was in the demo but nothing in the full game. It's driving me mad when making a female Hawke, they all turn out looking like their storing nuts in their cheeks for winter...

I know this is a LONG way off...but! I want a fully voiced Quarani companion! It always bugged me on my firstplaythrough (and everyone after that), that the 2 quarani you encounter (1st. the tal-veshoth runaway AND 2nd. the quarani mage) dont join your party! It was SO misleading I thought forsure the mage was gonna join me but nooooo....GRR

I would love it if someone made some attractive mage robes for Hawke! Merrill and Bethany look cute while I'm wearing a big frumpy robe! Surely Isabella would come to my rescue, lol!

If there is already such a mod, please direct me to it! Thank you!

On Dragon Age Nexus there are some mods that let you wear bethanys robes and some other ones..Also some retextures of those robes...I agree, more robes are needed across the board! and by robes I mean badass armored ones like the champ mage gear...(for males anyway, females could use ones that dont look like their made by amish folk Image IPB)
