Some may have noticed the four larger barrels and three smaller barrels in the fade whilst doing the quest night terrors.  Well, what I did was put the three smaller barrels on top and the four larger on the bottom, which turned them all solid, and gave me an extra attribute point.  Just thought I'd share it with ya.

The only one I did right was catching the book as it made its rounds.

The barrels? I mucked that up every time.

Not that I care because at this point(beginning of Act 3) I am rocking some serious Champion socks.

I didn't see the book, sadly. I did the other barrel puzzle I found just summoned some shades and a rage demon for me to kill :/

All the barrel puzzles I did brought out demons.

Good thing too, since I enjoyed shooting them down.

LOL same here i thought you were supposed to put the red barrels on top and the regular barrels on the bottom

For the second barrel puzzle you have to put the four red barrels in the center within (I think 18) moves.

the first barrel puzzle you encounter (smaller barrels with larger barrels) you have to get the smaller ones on top of the larger ones

The second barrel puzzle (with red barrels) you have to get all the red barrels together by stacking them on top each other just like the other red barrels in the room. This rewards you with attribute points as a result

In addition there is a book floating around in the first area you appear in. Just click on it when it stops moving and it drops to the floor.

I managed to aquire 4 attribute points from these little puzzles

Never did catch that book. I got the one figured out with the big barrels but I always screwed up the one with the big and small barrels.

In the second pizzle it appears you just have to align the red barrels in 2 columns and it reward you with 2 attribute points

 I have done all three but i must say that book one was the most complicated it blew chasing that thing in a a circles around a pillar.

Don't chase it. It travels a fixed path and stops for a moment at preset spots. Wait at one of these spots till it comes by - it becomes selectable when it stops.

I didn't know there was a wrong and right way to do it, could have used those extra attribute points...

You can even choose which character gets the points (the character you control when doing the puzzles gets the points).

I guess i need to redo it anyways i didnt realize bringing Merrill into the fade immediatley kills her once you encounter that final demon
