I was told by a friend that if I changed my Hawke via the mirror that comes with the Black Emporium, that my family would change as well. But I tried it out and, sure enough, they remain the exact same no matter what face, skin tone, hair, etc I change.

Just wanted to know, is this intentional or a bug?

I'm having the same problem. Also, the DA wiki entry on the Black Emporium states that they're supposed to change with you (with a source linking to some official post).
