Varric and then shortly after Anders. I'm mid-Act 2 now. Fenris is going like crazy between friendship and rivalry. That's what I get for being a mostly well intentioned and kind but a mage who supports mages (and tries to not get people killed on either side). I don't know how well this role-playing will pan out, but hoping to get Fenris to rivalry soon.

Aveline, Varric and Anders all hit 100 so close together, I can't remember who actually hit it first.

Bethany and Varric were easy. Fenris is almost there for friendship too. Anders is a tough cookie to romance and disagree with at the same time so I'm still stuck at 60% rivalry.

I got Bethany to 100 shortly after End of Year 1 (start of year 2). Just do the family quest she offers right at the beginning.

Got Varric first at 100% friendship, then Fenris at 100% friendship. Anders and Aveline are almost there as well. Trying to get everyone to be friends with Hawke.

I got Beth first,and I think Aveline and Fenris tied for second since I traveled with them together

Bethany to Merrill to Varric to Sebastion to Anders... All of them are in friendship. Glad that Aveline stick by my Hawke, unlike Isabela, Fenris, and Sebastion. I hope that ass of a prince learns the details of what happen.

Anders and Varric, back to back. My group was essentially the badass mage and the psycho apostate who loved her, along with Hairy McChesterton and. whatever meat shield I felt like using at the time. Aveline and I got along pretty well but I never quite managed to make it to 100 with her. Everyone was I didn't max out first playthrough.

 Aveline, then closely followed by Fenris and Varric. All friendship. They're my favorite party so far.

Bethany first, then Fenris. Bethany was easy since I did the family quest early and didn't take her on any quests with Fenris where I took some anti-mage decisions. Aveline is third highest friendship and Merrill has highest rivalry but neither are at 100.At this stage I'm still in the early part of Act 2 and poor Bethany has bit the dust.

Carver maxed Rivalry extremely fast with me, then Fenris (also rivalry), and friend isabella and Varrick happened about the same time.

Bethany, then Merrill, who I was romancing, then I think it was Anders, then Aveline, then Varric, then Sebastian.

Fenris was like 5 points away from full friendship when I ended and Isabella had run away in act 2.

Varric was the first to friendship, then Merrill, Avelline and Isabella. Avelline took longer although she was with me on every mission but her romance one because she kept flopping back and forth on some of my in game choices. I honestly didn't think it was possible to get rivalry points from Varric until my current mage character started to get them from always using the aggressive and blunt conversation choice.

just began act 2 and only bethany was my friend.

i'm getting closer to winning over anders and varric though. aveline just seems impossible to please and isabella/fenris aren't too keen on my squeaky clean ways.
