But
seriously, I'll have to wait and see how it looks on a female character
before I can form an opinion. Or have I missed a screen-shot/video
where a female PC wears it? If I did, I'd appreciate a
link/info/something.

And I don't think there's a screenshot of female blood dragon armour, but I haven't seen all the screenshots either.
Oh, and thanks for the torch

Well, I know that there is a slang for girls in english, "chick", so I wasn't sure whether you username had a relation to that (or even a mocking relation).
Well, I guess I'll have to wait how it looks on females, then (the armour, I mean, not the chicks, or even the chikkenstorms).
And you're welcome, I love to give out warmth.

Anyway, I'd love to go back on-topic, but I don't have anything useful to say. I already said that I didn't like it.

As a matter of fact, I tried choosing the name chickkenstorm, but it was taken. And I'm female. This is the internet, you can't prove otherwise!Chikkenstorm wrote...

But to me the Blood Dragon Armor in DA:O looks similar to something a Templar would wear, kind of like Assassins Creed Templars. But the Mass Effect 2 Armor looks so sick that it doesnt have to fit in.

Agreed, but only due to the blood on the armor imo. It'll still be awesome though.ME2 is where it will look out of place.

One wonders if the Blood Dragon armor being available in ME2 insinuates that the Mass Effect and Dragon Age universes are in fact the same.

Well they could be tied in some how. we will just have to wait till ME2 launches and see how they make the armour tie in. i hope they do a good job.
Also to stay on topic i think they both look out of place also. i like the ME2 one better cause i hate templar style armour. but as grantrk said if its good low level armour ill use it and be happy.

Yes I think you might be
I think it indicates they are both published & developed by the same companies and they think its a cool marketing gimic.....These are the days where marketing is king.

If the armor is fairly good for a low level (starting) character i'm sure i'll use it regardless of how it looks. What matters to me is that it is a significant improvement over what's already available. Not that i think any of your are wrong who don't like the look of it, i just have a different point of view.
I can understand that, for me it has to look good in the game setting for me to put it on my character, since I have to look at the character a lot. But I can understand the point of view that you just want to max how effective the character is.

The DA:O one that is, haven't seen the actual ME2 version... And ME2 isn't on my wishlist either, not a hardcore Sci-Fi fan, more "Medievalstyle Fantasy"..

my character was walking around looking like something from Battlestar Galactica.
They should've given it the same design as the juggernaut or Dragonscale armor.
