[LSDS]

I don't like the DA:O version mainly because of the lite-brite thing it has going on. I made Sten wear it once I got the Juggernaut set for my character. It actually looks decent on Sten.



The ME2 version looks pretty good. It's the main reason I wanted the armor in the first place.

It reeks of poo! it looks like a 1970s Cylon outfit from Battlestar galactica. I hate it. Bah.

I think it looks somewhat out of place.  the glowing parts are a bit odd in a game that seems fairly realistic with its magical items (no floating bits, no glowy bits, etc). 

Its fairly nice, but I think the dragon painted on the metal is a little strange....seems like it would peel, get scraped and fall off eventually.  I mean....its not like they had primer back then, and this is paint on polished metal armor.

I just sell it to vendor for 7-8g or whatever because it looks that bad

It has "here I am" glowing lights so cars can see it at night.

I didn't even enable the thing. Seemed kind of cheap to be handed a full set of armor (with the immersion-breaking DA logo to boot).

as soon as i started the game i put in all the promotional codes anjd got the chest plate but after i got banashed i lost all that was in my inventury, any ideahow to get this back as just bought the rest of it

armour (dragon that you get through edition pay) is not as effective as juggernaut armour you get at same level ( wast of cash and expectation, no upper hand while paying

The BDA looks pretty awesome when you're first starting out and have nothing but rags...i mean sheesh, at least you can THINK you look cool. Later on in the game, it tended to get on my nerves. I ended up giving the BDA to Allistair and started wearing the Juggernaut armor (since i'm not a tank, and Juggs gives extra CON/STR).



I'm still waiting for something to come along and have better stats than it though. Possibly the grey warden set you saw duncan wearing at the beginning of the game and in all the cinema trailers on the net? That would be awesome.

I put it on sten who I always leave at camp (Minus the head gear of course). Makes him look creepy.

i have it on my human charter but my darwf charter i mean do you see the badass armer i mean leigon of the dead armer is just so awesome

I'd rather just take the hit to stats and wear the Warden Commander set. Looks so much better.

It definitely is not visually appealing. In game armor looks much better.

BUT there is no more powerful armor in it's class. It is the best armor I have found so far.

not a big fan of the shape of the armor, the belt makes my character look tubby instead of ripped =\\. also the glowing on the belt and visor obviously isn't fitting to this time period, maybe they should've just given a nice glowing red light saber to go along with it. stat wise, it's pretty much the best armor. appearance wise id much rather be wearing wade's dragonbone plate.

whats weird is the description says it needs all 4 pieces. i tried removing the helmet and i still had the bonus so they should probably fix that...

Hmm lets see, "Handed a full set of armour."  
Already your wrong. You get the chest armour only, you have to buy the rest of it.
Also, its not "cheap" to start with an item that requires you to have a ****ton of strength to wear, which by the time you do have the required strength, gold is not exactly scarce.
I mean Christ, most people come out of lothering with 20+ sovereigns.

Some of the high definition re-textures that are starting to pop up for it look really amazing. I just downloaded one that completely removes the ridiculous glow, actually makes the dragon a blood red color and makes the rest of the armor actually look like battle-scarred plating, rather than being so shiny and pristine.

on my dragon age origins game (pc) i redeemed the code to give me the blood dragon armour is there only the chest peice or is there supposed to be more to it?? and what is the shale thing?

at first i thought it was the armor on the box art,you know the one in the blood dragon, but obviously i was wrong, do you ever get that suit armor though? just curious, i'm not very far into the game yet

oh, and for the rest of the blood dragon armor you can buy them from merchants in your camp. just so you know the merchants are not there by default
