How do you prevent Isabela from leaving the party?

I don't like companions leaving under my watch. How do I prevent this?

Oh crap... I'm pretty sure it's not at more than 50% when I reached the warehouse.
And these qunari are kicking my ass at the keep. I've gotten killed three times now, and it's all on casual. Damn qunari mages...
I'm replayed the last few hours over again.

My mage was an AoE specialist, not only was shuting down the serebas hard, but the damn Arishok was nigh impossible one on one even in casual. I had to wittle him to death and it took like 5 tries

Haha, yeah I was playing on normal and my mage was the AoE person in my party so the duel took a looong time. Involved a lot of running around pillars and turning around to catch him with my instants. Not to mention my Hawke gets a little buggy and absolutely refuses to do his auto-attack combo so I had to constantly click spam for him to attack.

I was a warrior. I bought Aveline, Varric, and Merrill. I'm going to give Hawke, Merrill, Anders, and Fenris a try instead.

You have to keep going to see where Isabela is, you will get there!
So she will turn up? Even if I have barely any rivalry rating with her? I gave her a gift and talked to her any time I could.

As for cappy bella she ran away on me, I'm looking forward to gutting her sometime in act 3 though.

Keep Anders with you. If you develop his special tree he can bring back fallen team mates. I was a Mage, and had Anders, Aveline and Varric and managed to beat the Arishock first try on normal and I'm not so great at micro-managing.

The poster was talking about dueling the Arishock 1v1, not group vs group.
I was an archer when I dueled the Arishock, it took like 20 minutes of kiting around the pillars and using mark of death/assassination anytime it came up, took a long long long time.

I didn't have quite enough and I guess now she's gone for good... Oh, well it's just my first playthrough, not my cannon for DA3 so I guess better luck next game.

That's essentially what I did with my AoE mage. I kited him around the pillars, used wintergrasp+CoC when I could and prayed that they froze him so I could Firestorm/FireBall+staff combo attack him before I started running around like an idiot around the pillars again. I think the fight took about 15-20mins for me as well.

Make sure you are going to the Hanged Man at night, she isn't there in the day Hanged Man.
