I just played a warrior through my first playthrough. I believe I am a level 17, you can check my profile for that information along with achivements (yeah ego) but my question is when you play a mage, since the game is centered around mages mostly
Do you find the gameplay more interesting? is there a chance when the other mage offers to teach you blood magic? are the NPC's more hostile? is anders more open with you?
These are questions I need to know answers of
Did you play as mage? (Post here)

Anders is more open towards you, he says its because you understand or something
But other than that, a few other people comment on you being a mage, but that's it.. ._.

No one offering to teach you blood magic, like that little elf girl?

Nope, no one at all, even if you are a blood mage, no one even notices, LOL

There's some dialogue tweaks and a lot of situations make more sense that you're a mage, but on the other hand there a lot of moments where things don't seem to make sense. Like important templars who know you're an apostate and they just let you walk around instead of taking you in.

Sometimes people notice, Meredith calls you an apostate whenever you talk to her. Most of the time you get the option to remind people you are a mage (happens the most with Fenris). Also you can just learn blood mage on your own, don't need to learn it from a demon or anything, and nobody seems to care. Probably for the best, Carver, Fenris, and Aveline would probably all put my head on a pike if they noticed I was a blood mage.
I like playing mage a lot more in this game than in origins. I like being able to actually distract and flee as a mage, and I like how quick the default attacks are. Plus better armour (though still more robes than I'd like to see).

That's really a let down. I was hoping Blood Magic would be more noticed in this game. I always dreamed of a game where a person offers to teach you Blood magic and you can choose more what to say to remind them you are a blood mage, maybe even some extra action choices.
I'm not sure about replaying. I mean I may, I thought if your a mage then the situation is changed around alot more. But if it's only tweaked, then there's really no point expect for achivements.
