I'm stuck on the quest Haunted in my playthrough where Varric asks you to investigate his brother's home.  I adored this quest, but when I got to the end the journal informs me that I need to meet Varric at Hawke's home to continue it. The quest appears on the map as well as in my quest journal.  Unfortunately, when I head to Hawke's home nothing happens.  There is no letter for him and he isn't there, if he's supposed to be.  Am I bugged?  Has anyone had this problem and did you fix it, or do I need to go back to an old save?  I continued playing hoping that it would 'jog' the game's memory but it hasn't yet. I really don't mind having to redo a few quests to get this to update - but I would obviously rather not!

ETA: Okay, so, I went back and had to start this quest over from the begining.  This time when it updated the journal said to go to Sandal and worked properly.  In the other save, the journal's message had never really updated, Sandal didn't update, and the map was the only part that did update.  So it just appears to be a random glitch and nothing more.

Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else!

ETA 2:  And having done this also fixed my other save!  When I went back to that save and went to Hawke's house, everything worked properly.  So if it does happen to you, save, go back through on easy, and reload your real save lol!
