 1 lowest 10 highest say nothing else just put down the number i want to do this to see what the majority says since most who care about the series are present in these forums. we all love bioware so this is not by any means a hate thread or a review thread just a simple numeric score thread for the purpose of personal research.

I like the fact it's based in a single city. I love the companions. Especially Varric and Isabella. But all of them feel like people. I like that instead of one sweeping storyline (besides the framed narrative) there's multiple stories weaved together.

That kind of story is one you'll either love, or you'll hate. I love it.

I'm not sure how far I am yet; I've got about 13 hours played and I'm still in year one, but so far I am really enjoying DA2.  So far, on a scale such as that, it's close to an 8.7 for me.  Maybe this will change, but I indeed like most of the changes made.

would be a 10 if I did not have an issue with the elf character model.
Very nice writing with lots of twists. I loved all of the companions and some even surprised me.

Liked many of the new things Bioware tried
The "told tale" story, the more limited conflict vs world-saving, the dialog wheel (oh yes, I really do - liked it in ME, like it here), voiced main character, most characters and dialogue.
Oh, and it runs very well and I have yet to encounter any bug.

But over all it is just not as great as older titels. The reasoning behind this statement is, well, you can tell it was rushed, not only by looking at the obvious (1 and a half year developement) but it also shows in every aspect of the game.

I think over all, it is an experiment that, though rushed, went quite well in itself. But to make DA:2 this experiment was a grave mistake. The amount of hatred is immense, and I can quite understand it.
I am just grateful, that I pretty much like any subgenre of RPG, and can enjoy DA:2 for what it is.
I can very much feel the pain of everyone who thought the DA series to be the revival of good oldschool RPG-goodness.

And I should add... that's me being generous.
Don't think I'd even be remotely satisfied with this product unless I heard a public apology from Bioware at this point.
This game is clearly of inferior quality.
