As a game? 8 - 8.5
As a product of Bioware? 6 - 7.
They've fallen off a little with this 'un, still great though.

I give it a 6.5. EA should give Bioware more time to make something epic, they stayed far beyond their capabilities this time, but compared to an average rpg it is still solid. However, if i take a look at bioware's previous games, it is the worst game they ever made. Sad, but true.

9/10. UI and Re-used maps take half a point each.

Either a 7.5 or 8, currently undecided.
A good, but flawed, game. The whole issue with the Qunari was very well executed, but the mages vs. templars conflict seemed rushed in the end. And the glitches sucked.

8.8/10
If they added more areas to visit instead of the same caves then this would be an easy 9.
For Comparison I gave DA:O a 9/10 when I beat it. Story wise its still a 9/10 and 9/10 for DA II as well. Gameplay wise I have to give it a 6/10 compared to DA II which I give a 8/10. Overall I think if they left the gameplay mechanics the same in DA II then DA:O would easily destroy DA II in my book.

Ok seriously I don't know yet. I have only played 5 hours. All I know is that Merrill is Biowares best character.

I would go with 6.Maybe I have higher expectations for BW but it's ok nothing special.DAO on a scale of 1-10 was a 12.

Two.. Junk system and really tight feeling combat nechanics.
Only two good things I could think of.

For a Bioware product, a weak 2/10.
For a stand alone point of wiev maybe around 6.75

5/10.
I wanna equip all my characters. Also, I may only be in the early stages of the game, but so far every fight has followed the same mechanic: There are some dudes, one of them has a lot of health - adds come and you kill them, more adds come and you kill them too. Ever. Single. Fight.

DA:O 8.9 - 9
DA2: 8 - 8.5
I honestly enjoyed it. I loved Origins, I have put over 450 hours into it and adore it for everything it is. DA2 does feel different, the setting and how it all plays out, different. But I had a lot of fun, and really thought the story was good. No, there is no single big bad, world destroying enemy/army or central quest, its all about the series of events that happened in Hawkes life that shaped Hawke into what he/she was, and all the smaller deeds that lead him/her on their path to becoming the Champion. I thought it was wrapped up very well too.
In some ways I was disappointed that it was shorter than DA:O, because I would have liked more time to explore and to get to know the people in my characters lives, but then there were times in DA:O when it felt like it was really dragging on and taking too long to get through certain quests and areas, so that part is a double edged sword. Some of the maps being copied got kind of old, but it didn't bother me too much. I felt the combat being faster paced and more actiony was very fun, but it did feel less challenging and less tactical. I enjoy the way the inventory and character equipment was setup, and I liked my party members and their backgrounds.
So yea, overall, a good game for me.

5- average
I was into this game. I could quickly get passed the lackluster companion conversations, and lackluster personal character growth. And the very confusing storyline.
But when I got to the last "act", I became very disgruntled. Of all the things. This should have been longer. I shouldn't pick this up on Tuesday of this week and beat it in three days, Friday. So, a five fore reused dungeons nowhere unique, no other cities than Kirkwall, no personal character relationships and growth, no companion customizing equipment, and for being way to damn short.
