I feel like being kind so... 3.

That's fair.

I am interested to see the average score. Since this game has been designed for Average Joe, averages, that is the masses, should rate this game very high causing the score to be high even though minorities would dislike the game.

By the way the score I give now is about 5/10 that is average score for average game. However that is unofficial score given by me.

The more I play DA2 the more I realize that although it is not a perfect game (mainly the re-use of dungeons and unable to equip companion armours), in terms of every aspect it is a far superior game that DA:O

Only difference between Medium and High is the addition of DX10 bells and whistles, the textures and everything else are the same. Thus requiring a DX10 card is a given for those settings. (And personally with a DX10 native card that can run it, I still prefer medium on my own machine because the visual difference between Medium and High is minimally distinguishable and the frame rate on my card is much happier without DX10 [4650] - but even running side by side with my wife's machine that can handle DX10 enabled and smooth as silk [4770] it's almost unnoticable in differences.)

And the same goes for High vs. Very High - which is the addition of DX11 effects. (As well as the ability to use the additional d/l Ultra-High Res pack)

As for DX11 not being widely supported - if you mean by card manufacturers, within the past year you'd have to GO OUT OF YOUR WAY to not get a DX11 friendly card.

If you're talking game developer support - it's gotta start somewhere - by this time next year I'd wager a good third of AAA titles will have DX11 support - likely even start phasing into some requiring DX10 at this point.

(PS - You do know that you needed DX10 to turn on all the bells and whistles in DA:O as well, right?)

Oh and since I didn't mention it in my 9 review earlier (don't double count me pollsters!) - in comparison I'd give DA:O a 9.5 ignoring Awakenings, and an 8 for Awakenings.

6.5

copypasted locations, dull ending sequence (Meredith died -> "So that's how it was" -> titles -> main menu) , 10-meter jump with 2-hand sword (it is not a Final Fantasy), a huge number of bugs.

8.5, definitely room for improvement in certain areas, but generally improves DAO's faults and expands on some of the game. Definitely a game that defines the face of DA.

Loved it just as much as Origins, maybe more so.

Compared to the majority of trash money grab games being put out as of late i'd give it an 8.5.
However i'd like to hold Bioware to a higher standard, so i'm giving it a 6.

You need a poll.

I'm in the 7 range.

edit took out anything that might remotely be spoiler.

Doing a full run through with no gaps is definitely the best way to play this game.
see http://social.biowar...95817/1#6495817
for details on that

So far id give it a 9 (9.5 with the texture pack!)
This game is so bright colorful the art of the world is just astounding! I'm also finding the pace of the game much more enjoyable than DA:O. I'm sure the developers expected all this QQ when they changed the art direction and play style from original to the squeal, but the result is a better game than the original. Quite a feat indeed.

I'd rate DAO as 9.9 out of 10. The loss of 0.1 was for the terrible love scenes :P

DA2 is easily an 8 and I've only played for 2hrs or so. It'd be a 9.5 if we had more locations.

I was kinda disappointed in the first few hours (highly influanced by these forums, remind me to never go in here again post-release), but the game really grows on you as you progress. 9/10.
