I rate it 4 coz its pretty. The game play is such a dumbed down pile of crud I just can't rate it any higher. And the streams of enemies teleporting in... what the hell? Such a disappointment.

Good combat, good character customization in form of talents etc. - but bland companions, re-used locations, confusing and disjointed narrative and flat storyline.

Around 25 hours in and I would have to give it about an 8.5 so far. Were it not for the recycled environments and not being able to kit out my party, I would be leaning 9.0-9.5 all the way.

They improve on alot, and overall the game is more entertaining then DA:O and they improved EVERY single complaint i had about origins, but at the same time they created new issues needlessly.

Hopefully DA 2 sells enough to warent a third, and gives bioware the time to meld the good from origins and DA 2 to a truely epic RPG.

untill then im gonna keep the streets of kirkwall clean, and im gonna enjoy every minute of it
